I have the same issue, but mine takes 2 days. I saw a comment on another video, and it said to take out the "info" fuse (number 22 inside the cabin fuse box). It has to do with OnStar and satellite radio. Maybe since we're removing the OEM unit, there's nothing to tell this fuse to shut down anymore. I work offshore so I haven't been home to try this yet.

Yep. Replace your negative battery cable buy it from dealership or make sure its ac delco brand.

Hey Grant, Try removing the fuse from the driver's side fuse box labeled "F22". It should be for OnStar. That should fix your problem!

@@Skyautovision-AuCAR yes I did, when I move the plug that goes fron the a/c to the unit it works for a little bit and then it stops working, so I thought was the a/c controller and I replaced it with a new one and it's doing the same thing again, now I am thinking it might be the pins inside the radio unit 🤔

So every time I connect the a/c controller it works for a little bit and then it would respond at this point I think the problem is the unit, please help 🙏
