Very helpful and good video on assembling and disassembling. Why only works with the engine on? Did you shut battery before removing airbag switch? If not didn't it show up an error after? Thank you

Thanks for the detailed introduction. Could you tell me how to change the main screen icons? I would like to put my favorite navigation program on the main screen, but six programs are already there so not able to take one that I would like to see in the main.

There's really no need to disconnect the air con controls and hazard lights , just put it to one side on the dash.

Seicane is Horrible dont buy I bought one they have horrible service and when the product stops working they want you to pay for shipping and refuses to replace it without it being returned. Mine barely lasted 3 months

Hi, hoping you can help. I’ve got a similar unit. Connected altogether but the FM radio signal is really poor and keeps cutting out..can anyone help? It’s connected as shown in this video. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi, aftermarket players don't work well in Volkswagen cars as regards radio reception, a dab antenna will deliver good internet but this has to be purchased . Have you digital radio broadcasting where you live ? If not the fm analog signal can be weak in rural areas then a new aerial system is necessary

HELP! Just bought my first car (an 04 Golf) privately, but the android headunit (not sure what model or anything) that's been installed doesn't turn off with the ignition. The display stays lit up as do the buttons underneath. Sounds like it could be wired up wrong? A friend says it could be wired to a permanent livewire and not the ignition livewire. Previous owner said he never noticed it. He always thought it did turn off with the ignition. I don't know anything about cars if I'm honest, but if I'm able to take an iPhone apart and put it back together then maybe I'm able to sort out this issue myself? Any advice or a link to something that would help me would be appreciated. I've tried holding the power/mute button down to switch it off but that just puts it onto a screensaver screen with the date and time. I've also left it a while after locking the car and coming back to check and it's still on :(

Hello jamietee indeed it is connected incorrectly with voltage. Your friend is right, the two cables must be reversed. Behind the android you will find the connection jacks. Usually the power supply socket is black, several cables come out of it, only the red ignition + and permanent yellow + are of interest to you. You cut them and connect red to yellow and vice versa yellow to red. Good luck

DIY Tips&Tricks After disconnecting the unit and re-connecting it now we can't get any power to it at all. We thought we'd blown a fuse but we've checked them all, including the one in the back of the unit. Something did spark when we playing around with the wires before disconnecting completely. So we’re unable to see what happens when swapping the cables.

Hi. also in Settings.System you must have “System Updates” or Reset. Try it like this. If you don't see your Car file, you lose a lot of options, The other solution is to put another android
