Excellent video... i wanted to do this conversion once to my 1975 chevelle, but sadly, i sold it off years ago and the nicest thing about it all, compared to this car, is that it had a GM factory bolt in axle type rear end, not c-clip type, much more reliable IMO. I found it off a 1976 chevelle four door with factory ordered limited slip in a junkyard, it even had the limited slip adative tag still attached to the back cover. So i bought the complete rear for $75 at the time, cleaned it up inside and out and put a set of actual GM 4.10 gears in it, not aftermarket, my chevelle was setup street/strip style, so i had some fun with it, ahhh, the good old days.

Boy, I wish I could run brake likes that (9:00). A $1,300.00 set of discs and this is how you run the brake lines, really? The hose clamp for the bracket is really going to keep this car out in front of the pack.

"Look mom no shims" -- and he and the instructions never said how to measure it. And how lose that caliper is on the guides -- feel like wrapping it with Teflon tape or some non melt dope to keep the rattlers away. I'm just saying this design is very primitive, but that could mean less parts to screw up. Don't forget to check your round-out and in-and-out play -- get those suckers centered where they need to be , which is distance between the boss that surrounds the pads and the rotors. Some fat feeler gauges should do the trick -- push and pull them axle shafts in and out like you are doing slalom, so the rotors are not hitting the aluminum around the pads. Check out all the Baer vids for more hints. I guess these brakes are based on KISS or Keep It Simple.
