Hey Exo. I just wanna say thank you for all your videos. Helped me a lot. I'm a woman in my 40's with no experience in audio installation whatsoever. Just done installing new double din, front speakers and underseat subwoofers for my car. Very proud of myself. If I can do it, anyone can! 😊

Nice work as always. For anyone new to car audio, always check that nothing is going to hit the window when it's down fully. I've seen this happen a few times when people have put larger magnet speakers in and haven't spaced them correctly at the front. Also i like to put a bit of electrical tape over the crimps just incase they touch the window rail. Don't want to blow your new speakers haha

Man EXO I'd like to just say thanks, I was thinking of getting component speakers recently and I remembered you always using NVX. Awesome! Thanks for the videos, much needed help with my 2010 Toyota Corolla! I replaced my rear speakers with some kickers. I'm going to be dointbthe front door speakers in the next week or so. I do have to say that the stick radio is garbage. I just recently replaced the radio 2 weeks ago with the Kenwood DMX7706S. The stock radio kept showing signs of over heating for 3 years or so. Every summer it misbehaved. The screen would go out, knobs and buttons not working, and recently the aux would fail. I had to wait until the car cooled down in order to use it. I am very happy with my Kenwood.

My aunt had a Nissan Versa with similar speakers to these stock speakers. The thing with those is, they sounded perfectly fine in good weather, but when it rained, it caused the coil inside to rub against the magnet. Then once it stopped raining, 30 minutes and a little bit of music later and it would sound perfect! I don’t know how that is possible. We installed Kenwood kfc-1665s speakers, which are not anything special, but are good to use without an aftermarket amp, and at least they use poly cones. That car is sounding better now, but I am going to have to fix a few things: one of the rear door speakers is out of phase! Also, since they are 6.5 inch speakers mounted in a bracket designed that works best with 6.75 inch speakers, there are those extra holes that should be filled.
