Hi, your video is still helping people...more precisely: Me :-) I replaced the fronts no worries. At the rear my allen shaped Torx wrench could easily counter-hold the bottom bolt. However, my new Meyle HD links have such a large ball-joint they were contacting the drive axle and I couldn't get the bolt into the rear upright. Then I remembered your video...raised the suspension and presto! Thanks !

If they are adjusted, can u make them shorter/ longer to put more tension/ harden the suspension?

this is interesting. I just swapped mine to OEM using this video as a rough guide. I bought the car with aftermarket ones, but they were super loud, unbranded and the bolts were extremely corroded (which is a big deal since the car has only ever been in Texas and only has 19k miles). The OEM M240i I put on had zero play in them unlike your stock ones did. I assume yours were just worn and there is not that much difference in M235 vs M240. I have used quite a few of your vids over the last 6 weeks of owning my M240 to do some work. Thanks for the info and presentation.

Isn't the car supposed to be on the ground when you are tightening everything up in order to properly adjust the preload?

will these endlinks with a stock sway bar make the rear any stiffer?

Not really. I would say only get them if you plan to upgrade the sway bar down the line or if run into fitment issues wheel lowering the car.

Does this help at all with the rear end feeling floaty at highway speeds? I already have Bilstein coilovers and an upgraded upper control arm in the front. I’m trying to figure out what to tinker with in the rear to help with the feel. Great content btw!
