Got a dumb theory - you don't see a lot of German-language videos about DIY guys complaining about BMW plastic in Germany. Could be Pride, sure, but I have a feeling you can get away with it in Germany because their Summer months top out at 80°F during months where it's just 'normal' in the US to have at least a few 100°F days ... plus stagnant wind and constant clear-sky solar exposure.

Since your replacing those vac lines you should’ve done the ones that go to the wastegates those look like original vac lines good idea to change aswell.

Hey bud any idea why when I get on it and I hit 5 grand rpm my check engine light comes on and my turbos shut off? Car runs great just if I get on it it does that, any ideas??

So ur getting into limp mode at high rpm, guessing ur misfiring? Check coils and plugs could be a good start after checking codes of course

Check coils and plugs and also HPFP would do that as well.

What code is being thrown? Misfire usually always happens if plugs/coils are aged

@@BMWFanatic my 2010 535i is doing the same thing…. It’s building boost at lower rpms, but right when I punch the throttle or accelerate fast the car throws and engine malfunction and cuts out turbos completely. I’ve never ran the code before what’s the best way to do that ?
