Canon would not help. The seller would not help. This worked like a charm and you made the video so it did not waste any time, but was slow enough to follow. The internet thanks for you people like you, kind sir. You saved my day and 37 euros!

Omg I went thru countless of video trying to install the cannon 2522 series... It was not until I came across this video where I was able to manually install the basic driver and it work. THANK YOU "SET PRINTER"... I BEEN RESEARCHING FOR DAYS LITTERALLY. SO I SUBSCRIBED TO YOU CHANNEL. COMMUNITY PLATFORM PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT I HAVE A DELL NOTEBOOK THAT I PURCHASED 2 TO 3 YEARS AGO. CANNON 2522 TO 2500 SERIES DRIVERS FROM CANON WAS NOT WORKING AT ALL. BUT THIS BASIC DRIVER DID IN FACT WORKED SO THANKS AGAIN THROUGH ALL MY FRUSTRATIONS. COURT DOCUMENTS HERE I COME.

You're an absolute legend for posting this, our printer suddenly stopped working with a newer laptop and it was driving my parents crazy, they came to me to figure it out. Luckily you have done me a solid and posted the solution for me. i was able to installed the drivers on my pc, but not exactly using your files. I was following your tutorial and then it asked me if I wanted to install the "recommended drivers that come with the printer" and I selected yes and it installed them and it worked. I was using an old program from canon to install the drivers and it kept saying the printer was disconnected. But with your tutorial I had no problem even if I didn't have to follow it completely. Thank you!

thanks again, had to get a newer one, fresh windows install cus intel hated my drive with amd drivers, and cannon's offical driver installers are absolute trash (get stuck on step 3 even tho it sees the printer is on), it worked yet again glad I saved it to "repair" playlist lol

I don't think they should sell this one anymore. Not only is is not listed on the website to download directly from the Canon website, but Windows would NOT let me input 2520 and then install. You can't get through on the customer service phone number for Canon because the automated system is defective. I'm just returning this mg2500. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT.
