If the binding prompt wont pop up go to your CET folder and delete the (bindings.json) file :)

Its astounding that nearly everyone (Myself included) has the same issue, Followed video to the letter, but no prompt at start to set a 4 button binding to bring up the console. Loads of us unable to even open the console, How can something that should be easy.. be so difficult?? Tried all the "Fixes" & nothing worked. All i want to do is open the console lmao.

Hey guys so I found a fix for why I was not getting the promt to bind CET, it was because I was missing the .ASI file for CET in my folder. For some reason when I dragged it from the .zip file it didnt take it with it. How to find : OPEN THE ZIP FILE : bin>x64>plugins>cyber_engine_tweaks.asi file. After you locate it just drop it into the game plugins file where the CET file folder is and relaunch. Hope this works for everyone who has had the same issue.

So the input hot key prompt isn’t showing up for me when I first start up the game, mods in it are working fine so I don’t really know what’s going on or why it’s doing this. I really don’t want to do a whole wipe when I spent days installing mods on this thing. Edit: Just figured it out, I went to Cyberpunk’s x64 file, found the plugin folder for CET and deleted the bindings.json folder to bring up the bound key prompt.

Okay so, I've found a solution if you still haven't see the key binding window at the startup. Please make sure your game version is similar with the mod version. My game is 1.6 but I mistakenly installed the mod with 1.63 version.

tried to install it the same way you did and did not work, read all the comments on the video and did everything in them ( disabling all sorts of overlays, even Xbox game bar.. ) and the console prompt won't come up, tried to do it again using vortex but vortex for some reason is not supporting the hard deployment method and cant use it, I dunno what else to do, if you know any other way to get this thing to work please let me know.

To anyone using CET now, you can simply go to the mods tab on the title screen

Borderless windowed mode is an issue for my setup, i play on a 4k tv with game setting at 1440. To run borderless and expand the game window to the size of the tv I need to change the game resolution, in game settings, to 4k. This lowers my fps to mid 30s. So my question is this, can I install cyber engine mod, run it in game with borderless window mode to make my modifications (like adding gear etc), save the game then reload with cyber engine mod disabled and run it in fullscreen? Maybe this is a stupid question, sorry. I don't know if cyber engine mod can even be disabled at all or if it is running by default every time the game is launched.

Thank you very much, i got an 10 percent Performance Boost. I bought an 4070ti and I am bottlenecked by My 3700x. In 4K I couldnt get more FPS even With DLSS Performance Mode. But now its much better playable in 4K With Raytracing. I think I still have to Upgrade to the 5800X 3D but for now its good enough. 👍

When I launched the game for the first time with cybertweaks it didn’t say not bound it said unbound and the text was red. Seems like it was already bound. Not it’s binding. it’s taking forever

Can confirm with 100% certainty that this does not currently work. This guide is no longer functional, though perhaps it was in the past. Edit: I retract my statement. The mods worked. It wasn't showing up, but it was apparently automatically keybound to ` without me having done anything. I accidentally bumped that button while playing and it opened the mod up no problem. Of note, in the cyberpunk launcher beside the play button there is a wheel, make sure you click it and enable mods.

if doesnt work in 2.12, try install to 1.13.2 of cet version. İt worked for meç

Installed the latest version of the mod but I do not get the first time setup keybind prompt. Ive disabled all overlays, deleted the Keybind file to try again, updated the game to its latest version 1.63 as of july10th. I just cant seem to get it to work. I also put it into windowed borderless.
