Hi. Is it to difficult to install and use frame generation on UE 5.0 or 4.27? I saw that maybe we need Visual Studio, but not find any info about that at this moment, even in the files of Nvidia, the link is broken 404 page not found (inside the Quick Start Guide.pdf)

Is it enabled automatically in a shipping packaged build if you use the command to enable it in editor? (not sure how to tell if its working in the packaged shipping build) Thx!

Is there any chance that you know how to implement the DLSS3 frame generation into games that don't already have it I mean for 4000 series cards?

so ..some of my shots require the engine to warm up a few frames, like 64 frames or so and usually i'd just set that setting in MRQ's anti-aliasing, but if DLSS is replacing all anti-aliasing methods, then how do i warm up the engine, because i cannot have both anti-aliasing and DLSS at the same time, right?

Hey! I have an Asus laptop with RTX 3060 and Ryzen 9... Will this work? Because all ive seen so far is that this is for 40 series cards... Now I tried to look for DLSS 2 but i cant find it... Also, DLSS 2 is actually pretty good as well... Ive been running RDR2 at 4k, all settings maxed out (except for textures, theyre set to high as 3060 laptop has just 6gb vram and it gives me a good 60-70fps... Just really wanna use DLSS on UE cuz my project has a massive map (128sq km) that runs at 30fps... higher frames would be cool- please lemme know if there's a dlss 2 link somewhere or if this would work...

This doesnt work for me with Electric dreams project. Downloaded and added plugin folders to new "Marketplace" folder exactly as you did but it does not appear in the plugins list searching for DLSS. Also updated to 5.2.1

Yeah, Would be nice to know if the plugin is backward compatible. As far as I know, upscaling is basically DLSS2 anyway

@@florianschmoldt8659 Yes it does work with the 30 series. Just not frame generation that's all but everything else does.

@@7_nels No this needs clarifying. DLSS3 is just version 3 of DLSS tech. It's frame generation that requires 40 series cards. DLSS3 will work with the 30 series just fine.

@@7_nels It's just upgraded dlss2. Frame generation is a separate system that will only work with 40 cards so you don't have to worry about that :)

This is probably worst GPU generation forced upgrade nonsense i ever seen. We are literally forced to throw away 3000 series GPUs just because of this Frame Generation nonsense... Even if 4000 series have almost no raw performance uplift

Frame generation non sense from someones whos never used it. Its like saying a food is nasty without tasting it. technology evolves. Bought my 3090 for $1499 4090 is double the speed at $1700 5090 double again?

@@Jsfilmz im getting a 4070ti/4080 probably because I don't want to bottleneck my 5800x with a 4090. right now i have a 3070ti and 2 1440p monitors @165hz. will be my last upgrade before the 5090 series. :) kind of excited, but 2025 is such a ways off.
