A few questions. Do I leave the ciss on during the print head cleaning? How about during a power clean? If I don't print every day can i just cut the ciss on for 2 min a day to prevent clogging or does it have to do a print head clean with it every 24 hrs?

Thank you for taking the time to create this video. I think at the beginning or your video or in the comments your followers should know if they already used the printer they need to have that chip resetter or an extra waste tank before they start this process, because you can not perform the power cleaner without one of those items in hand.. You are stuck. Second part to share with your followers up front is the amount of ink required to fill the CISS, so they have all the supplies ready when they start and not have to wait for things to come in the mail later. I've made it to the power cleaner, which I assume removes the old ink and starts the flow of the new ink, so we will see once I receive either the resetter or the new waste tank if I was successful or not. More to come, I have my fingers crossed that this is going to work... I am not sure I see too many success stories in the comments which is making a bit anxious. :) Ok I ordered both an extra waste tank and the chip resetter because I could get the waste tank faster...I installed it but could only perform 2 of the 3 power cleaners because the printer claimed the waste tank was full again....so you definitely need the chip resetter... but I am able to print and the colors look good, now I will invest in the a bit more quality ink, now that it's working... so thank you very much for the step by step....it seems to be working out for me...good luck to you guys and hope this helps.

Hi, I am confused to hooking up the white and black supply lines together with th Y and T connectors... won't that dirty the white and black inks?

I have a brand new never used 8550 printer, I have converted it and have added the CISS system.. I cannot go forward with all the steps to add ink or anything else, because I am receiving a 000031 error message saying there is paper stuck. There is NO paper stuck since it has never been used. Do you know how to remove this error message?

I have a few questions: How do I perform a power clean? And if the power clean is replacing the old ink with the new, you have to do this everyday? Isn’t that wasting the ink everyday? How do I setup a scheduled maintenance if I’m on vacation? If I don’t use the printer for an extended period of time, can’t I run paint thinner or something similar through the printhead and leave it be for the long duration instead of wasting ink?

With the new white CISS the first tube has a W which i would think is for white the 2nd to last tube has a M and the very last tube has nothing....is that last tube still for waste?

Question I have set up my CISS and Epson following your video, but my colors are printing different then my image. is there some setting other than the ink order that I may be missing?

For those of you who stated your printer won't turn on after installing the CISS take off the side of the printer without the ciss and make sure those 2 wide wires with the blue on bottom in front didn't come out of the fastener they were in, if so make sure they are in good (but the blue part does not go all the way in) and this should turn your printer back on also check also make sure the white/black wires to the left of them didn't come out of the clips( if so reattach them. Mine wouldn't turn on either and this corrected the problem. Hope this helps some of you.

What happens when white won't print :/ i noticed it didn't go through the tubes but I installed it just like the steps and did the same program setup for the ink order

So i have a quick question... the white needs to be stirred daily there for you would essentially have to pick up the entire printer and shake it but... so im wondering.... if you get a syringe and suck the ink in and out a few times rapidly... is that not enought to consider it stirred???

Finally got to install the ciss but on cadlink I see white,blk,yellow,magenta,cyan, and white but the ciss are w,c,m,y,blk.can you explain the set up order before I add my ink? Or should I just fill the ciss in the order of cadlink?

I removed the rollers and installed the CISS unit BUT now my printer won’t turn on. I checked all the wires to make sure everything is connected and still now power. It’s a brand new unit. No ink in it ever

I follow followed your video step-by-step for the install, but I did not receive a bracket with my in my package. Also, I noticed during the tube Connections two of my tubes have the letter M on it and I don’t know what color to connect too so I just connected each tube to the tube that was in the same place of the ink tube color. I want to know if I did that correctly? In the video I didn’t see any letters on your tubing Also, as I followed your video to put the printer back together, and you said turn it on before connecting the top of it my display will not come on. Does CISS only work with 8500 or 15000?

I just went through step by step following ur video. First got error 000023 then error 000021. After troubleshooting got it going now ink is being left behind on the bottom of printer and severe smearing is now happening. Printer was working fine until installing ciss system. Any pointers? I have checked all my lines, everything is good there.

I did everything the way insructed and when i went to do a power clean my whit turned blue and started leaking from the bottom now i have nomore white i have used the syringe to get all ink out white tank and cleaned it the best i can please help

Used Digital Factory software to print and heat press my first shirt with a random picture from Google. Question for anyone: What software program with photo editing capabilities do you use to NOT have a square/rectangular print?

I just converted my ET 8550 to DTF. Installed Cad Link ETC. I also have a DTF Ciss installed. There is not sign of any ink on the tubes connected ciss to printer tubes and no sign of ink where the tubes are connected to on print. The problem is where from the bottom of the print head. The ink is pooling out wherever I move the printhead when the printer is off. I have paper towels down under the printhead to absorb the ink at this time to keep from spilling more ink into the printer. What should I do?????

UPDATE ON MY CISS INSTALL YESTERDAY … Followed his video step by step, and after 8 hours of printing wrong colors and playing with the ink order’s, I finally have my Et 8550, with ciss, working properly. If you followed his video step by step like I did, try to use ink order , White Black Yellow Cyan Mag White This worked for me.

Pretty sure I destroyed my 8550. The top fell off my desk multiple times when trying to put it all back together. Ribbon cables got disconnected and I’m guessing how to connect them all back up. The front of my printer wouldn’t even move/open like yours when trying to get certain pieces back in. I might need a whole new printer! 💀
