In this video I show you the simplest method to install the Mozilla FIrefox browser in Digipad 1.0. The default browser in digipad is very buggy and slow and does not work when the handbrake is disabled. Hence you cannot access the internet while driving or when the handbrake is not engaged. This app overcomes that problem enabling you to browse the internet freely.

Currently you can install Firefox browser and Opera browser in digipad. But they are older versions, hence the app features are limited.

You have to install vlc player in digipad first. Here is the link for that: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gt18jbWcxLWXdmQ.html Then you need to play some video files and audio files in the vlc player to make sure you are getting the audio. Then install Firefox browser and play youtube and check.

Google has removed the playstore support to android gingerbread. So we cannot install playstore ever.

Hi, I kept a back up of inbuilt IGO maps to my computer. After back up, when I put the SD card back into car, it displayed "Missing or Incomplete folder: /sdcard/iGO" as error msg. Any help to fix this issue. I tried resetting the digipad, it did not work. I am trying restoring saved data to SD card and put again.

Try restoring the sd card using the backup. You might have done something more for it to give missing folder error.

Install vlc player. Then play video files and audio files both in vlc. Once they both play well, then open youtube and check

Nope. It will be horribly slow, and there is no navigation option if used within any browser. The max you can do is view your current location, that's it.

In order to connect to phone hotspot, the Digipad needs wifi dongle. It doesn't have inbuilt wifi adapter

It should. But in Digipad 2, you cannot use internet or install apps as in Digipad 1, as there is no browser in Digipad 2.

No way out. Mozilla has removed support for older versions. It wont work in Digipad now.

Try clicking on the back button when you get that message. If it doesn't work, then try resetting the digipad.

Download the same file to your laptop/PC using the same link. Then transfer it to digipad. Then install using es file manager.

Surely there is something getting wrong in the process. Make sure you download the file using the default downloader and not ES downloader when doing it directly in digipad.
