Follow along as Todd installs the Go Rhino RB10 Slim Running Boards on our 2022 Toyota Tundra SR5 CrewMax. It’s an easy installation and only requires 12mm and 13mm sockets and a ratchet. Having a friend help hold the boards in place isn’t required, but is nice to have.

The dealer installed mine and it looks like the widest part is at the back where you put the widest part in the front. It caught my attention when I saw the Go Rhino plate at the rear. Mine is up front.

The wide part should be in front as that is the primary use area moreso than the rear.

Already regretting my RB30s. Tried to install today and missing several parts and the wrong installation instructions are included. Pathetic… now have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to even have parts shipped.

What's the required ft-lb level for tightness? Great video by the way.

Hey there! Unfortunately Go Rhino doesn't list the torque spec in their instructions, but it's M8 hardware, so you'll probably want to be around 25 lb ft. Hope that helps.

M8 bolts in general cannot be torqued very high. I just got my kit in and it contained class 8.9 bolts which is the lowest commercial grade. I would adjust the torque to 20 ft lbs max. I'm applying threadlocker as well so hopefully that will prevent them from loosening. Edit, I did one clamp to 20, but when mounting the running board the bracket itself bowed/yielded. Did 15 ft lbs for the remainder which seemed adequate.
