I finally installed my APR GTC 500 wing. The APR wing was really easy to install so watch our how to video to get a better understanding on what to expect with your Nissan GTR.

@iamversatileX I've had people run the two stock holes and it be fine. For more security maybe run some 3m for more safety if you'd like.

@iamversatileX I see it as a performance thing. The company wanted three holes these cars can go 200 mph why not have the hole done. If you're not going racing you'll be fine imo

Loved the video. I’m ordering a 71” today and should have it in about a week. Wondering if there are any plugs or grommets that you can fill the middle hole with?

I used color matched vinyl from inside the trunk and a piece from a wrap shop .... a lot of people run 2 holes I drilled the extra 1

I believe I’ll drill the extra hole too for added stability.

@@arizonainvestment100 I said the same. Truthfully it will/should hold. It's not super heavy. But I did do 3rd hole for peace of mind.

I figured maybe to tighten down the first two and see how solid it is first before drilling the 3rd hole. We shall see!!!

They made two versions i believe 54 and 62 Or 62 and 82 I got the smaller version. It ran about $1300~

Good question I think they had three options mine was the middle or the smallest option. I remember saying I didnt want it to big because parking and having someone shoulder your car would suck. I had to dodge the rear of my car A LOT! lol

Oh hell no! I'd buy a carbon fiber trunk and install it onto that. Glad to see more GTR's in Hampton Roads

Also it shares the same holes. You only have 2 extra that can be blacked by stock wing if you so choose to reattach

@@mattmoto So is a new trunk of you f**k the position of the holes up. Plus you say a carbon fiber is expensive?? I'm sure your wrap wasn't cheap, and for that matter nothing else on the GTR is cheap, lol. Oh, and I'm sure the engineers who designed the wing put those extra holes in the mount for a reason. I would be sick to my stomach taking a drill to the body of my car. ✌

@@cantdriveslo lol it's really not that serious. 2 extra holes to ensure the security of the wing when driving track speeds is worth it. I'm sure no one would even notice besides the person who did the drilling. The APR wing really brings out the car and adds a super aggressive look not to mention the track performance benefits. It's worth it in my opinion as long as the person installing is experienced
