What's going on guys in today's video we will be installing some HID headlights on the Nissan Altima 3.5 SE. I was able to salvage some ballast from a previous Altima that I had so all in all this install didn't cost me anything.

Nice job! It may have been easier to take the bumper off...did mine in about 15 minutes minutes since J just replaced one if the bulbs

That’s longer than most nissan drivers take to remove their bumpers. It’s easier if you just rear end someone while doing 75 in a 30mph zone.

I bought an hid kit when a front headlight went out on my 03 Altima 3.5l SE. Turns out i didn't even need the kit and the HID lights were stock and came in a sports package, along with Bose Sound system, sunroof, spoiler and all leather seating. My mechanic told me, _i had some bolts on it and it had some good pick up" I wasn't even sure what he meant by that, guess he meant it had some mods on it.

Do u recommend keeping the snorkel on for the air filter to get more air or should I have it removed I currently have in the trunk because I figured more air in the bay itself the better?

Same car SE 3.5 but passenger side out. Put replacement bulb but only works now when holdimg back on light switch were option for bright light n fog lights. Do I need a baliice instead of that bulb them?

Yes in most cases the ballast is usually what causes these issues

Which LED's did yall go with, and was it fairly easy to convert them?? I have an 06 SE-R and one of the HID headlights just went out. They're both real fogged up so I've been wanting to replace them but 600 something dollars is a lot!!

LEDs look cooler and have more color options as they're able to be changed, they put out WAY LESS light than HIDs do, and they're light dispersion is pathetic in comparison unless you're talking about a Factory designed LED headlight that uses magnifiers and basically a large assembly of beam shapers/intensifers. When you measure Lumens at 5-10ft away it may appear close. Thays not useful when driving 80mph. Go take the measurements at 100ft. No contest LEDs are in fact cheaper for a reason. Take a look at anyone who sells both and read up. It isn't even a debate.
