How to Install internal GPS on Radioamaster TX16S

This is the detailed video walkthrough of installation of internal GPS on Radiomaster TX16S and use it to Display GPS coordinate on Widget also using the insternal GPS module update the date and time on the Radiomaster TX16S.

Thanks man that was really good demo , now I can add gps to my brand new tx16s 😌. One suggestion , try avoiding saying the word "GUYS". Its a Lil irritating ( no offence ) otherwise this video covered everything related to the upgrade ..... Thx again man

no offence , i was about to comment something about that too. i love the info in the video , im in the process of going with the gps on the bluetooth / 2.4 esp module , wanted to make sense of the 4 unpopulated ports on the sides of the mainboard , but i gess ill use it all on this part of the board

Really cool! I need to open my Jumper T16 if there is also a free UART available to use like in the Radiomaster. They are from the same family so it might already be implemented in the mother of that radio!?! Thank you very much! Subscribed!

Thanks for the video. To add Bluetooth, do you just solder any Bluetooth module to the same 4 pins?

why do we need our remote gps location when it always on our hand? unless it tells the aircraft's gps location on that remote for easy way to find if the aircraft crashed somewhere.

they had external ports and uart in mark 1 as well however i did not wanted to hang the component out of radio so i installed it inside. I hope this video helped. Please stay tuned to my channel for my future videos

it should be ublox supported gps also check if you reupdate the software with GPS option enabled, assuming you connected the wires correctly. I hope this helps. please stay tuned to my channel for my future videos

You know the 2 empty uart can be used. Just put plug on the gps.

I did this because i wanted to check the feature which was avialable in the firmware. Usecase could be many and possibility of future usecase could be to have lua script that shows you the relative location of you wrt to your drone, may be instead of image processing you can send the controller gps loc to have accurate following feature. If you like to configure the firmware like i do. This can be used for drone following you as optical following drone are not so accurate , this can give extra reliability. I hope this answers your question. Please stay tuned to my channel for my future videos

The Neo6M gps is outdated. You should use a GM10 gps module instead as it would get many more satellites quicker. And only about $20.
