Hi, thank you for the explanation. Just wanted to say that in some cases (like myself), "jupyer notebook" command to run the jupyter file won't work as it won't be recognized by the terminal. If you're having this issue, the command "python -m notebook" should work :)

Thanks man! You saved me a ton of trouble I encountered when I installed Python from Microsoft store. I now realized it's better to get it directly from the python's download page, check the 2 boxes and just go with the flow.

I know nothing about this stuff. Why does it open in a browser? I thought I was going to have python notebook program on my computer as opposed to a browser. This is just the same as Google colab, right?

what should I do when I get this problem for checking the version. Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut from Settings > Manage App Execution Aliases.

was having an issue where it kept saying invalid syntax when i tried to install with pip, but the issue was you're supposed to close cmd so it stops having python running and then do the command when you open it again. always the little things that trip you up
