Make sure to have the virtual adapter set to NAT or Bridged mode to have Internet connection. You can also try switching between adapters like so in this screenshot in the top right corner: imgur.com/a/c3VDfkX

@@LVC_21216 to be honest your best bet is probably to search up the specific error you're receiving. right now I have a bunch of errors but Google is key to find the answer!

Unfortunately I've never owned a Mac before so I don't know but the process should be very similar. There should be tutorials here on KZfaq on how to do so

Kali Linux install in VMware workstation what is the different? Why virtual box?

VMware and VirtualBox are virtualization technologies that allow you to run virtual machines VMs. They have their merits, but I always preferred VirtualBox because it always ran smoother (faster) than VMware and I always run into less problems when installing a virtual machine on VirtualBox. It's just a personal preference, most people prefer VMware from what I've seen.

to be honest your best bet is to search the error here on KZfaq to find a solution. The problem can be anything.

How to repair which part? If you didn't have any important information on Kali then it's just easier to reinstall.
