How to Install LED Mirrors and LED Lights on your Golf Cart

Today we're going to look at installing these brand new super bright LED headlights, tail lights, and mirrors with turn indicators built in. You're going to want to stick around to the end because after I go through a review and the install process I'll show you just how bright these new headlights are and exactly what the mirrors look like.

How do you change a bulb in these mirrors...does that clear plastic piece pop out ?

It's not likely, they're LED, so presumably you'd just trash and replace

Hi Andi - I am trying to add indicator lights similar to your side mirror lights and am running into an issue about which wires on my turn signals to tap into - I know you briefly mentioned tapping into the yellow and black. I tapped into the white and black on the headlight side turn signals and it works fine until I turn on my headlights. The new indicators flash all the time when the headlights are on so I have obviously wired it incorrectly. Wondering if the yellow instead of white is the right way...thanks!

Sounds like you could use a volt meter to check where the voltage is hot when you only have the blinker on. I think the colors I was speaking of seemed off from what I'd expect to see and I ended up using a meter to map it correctly. That's really the only way to be sure.

The side mirrors look goofy mounted so high.

From what I can tell, it is pretty common to mount the mirrors at a height so that the bottom of the mirror is level with your eyes when you are seated in the golf cart.

Congrats on your channel! I have a yamaha g29 with new yamaha motor, 48v. my question for you is, how do i make this go faster.. do i need a new motor, controller, solenoid or ONLY a new controller? and can you do a video on alltrax computer interface for your controller

I have to be honest here, I don't know a whole lot about Yamaha's or how to upgrade them. I did some searching out on some message boards for mine and that's how I figured out where to make those upgrades on the EZGO cart. I think that controller upgrades will certainly have an impact. And most of the time when you upgrade the controller, you need to update the solenoid and potentially the cables. A motor upgrade would probably help, as might a gear swap if that's possible in a Yamaha. But one of the easiest things you can do is put some bigger tires on and that'll make it go faster.
