I bought a 12mm version of this tool because I needed it for one room. The obvious difference between 12mm and 16mm cutter was the platform. The knife opening at the lowest point 16mm and the knife depth 15mm (on 12mm version) suggests that it's the same cutter and I made a larger wood platform to accommodate long planks anyway.

I just did 3 floors and now i have another one to do. i think I'm going to buy one these cutters im tired of dust from cutting with a Table/miter saw

I'm with you, I resisted and just "got through it" but same, after a few I finally bought it and am glad I did, love it! Saves a ton of time. I use a jigsaw for any weird notches. This model imo is best as it cuts long ways as well as the short end.
