If doing this by yourself, do one fork at a time - just put the axle back into the the front forks before loosening. Also, helps when re-installing with alignment and support.

This video explained a lot and had better detail than the Ohlins and other videos I watched, and definetly much easier to understand than the Ohlins manual.

Big thumbs up Ryan and Lurch - very helpful vid! I see youre getting more into specialty tools...nice. I recommend grabbing a set of S-shaped caliper hangars. I always use them when pulling front brake calipers by hanging them off the crash bars.

Great video. Just a shame that for what I paid for the bike ($25,000)it didn’t come with great suspension. I’m pretty much done putting any more money into the bike.

Hoping you can assist. im looking at a used 2019 RGS with ohlins suspension already installed front and back, but him and his wife are both about 160 each. Me and my wife are about 230 and 200. Part number is FKS 226 front suspension, and HD772 for the back. On the back, im guessing I have to change out to a heavier spring?? On the front, are there different springs available for different rider weights, of is it strictly based on the oil level and preload. According the the chart i saw, 140mm air gap, and id set the preload nut 15 turns just like you did here correct? They dont take into account passenger weight or gear from what I reviewed.

I have a 2014 Ultra Limited that does not have a top out spring in the left fork but it does have one in the right fork. Do I need to purchase another top out spring for the FKC-102 install? Thanks!

My 03' FXDX seems to be always worked on, from timing chain pad replacements, etc. LED lighting, custom black lightening star custom wheels not holding air properly? Would you please help me with a front fork question? Because bike is FXDX, called Dyna Super Glide Sport. I'm not sure of "super glide" but part of "Sport" means top & lower fork adjustments, with a dial knob on top of front fork, instead of a large bolthead? How much different an what kinds of different rebuild requirements due too this top an bottom adjustments in rebuilding seals? Thanks! Everyone leaving Sturgis now. I've been paying attention with my neighbor that owns 50 acres timber across from me. Because he was born an raised in Custer, mom & relatives still live there. I asked him what he would recommend? He says, don't just drive through Custer on bike rides, but visit several burger places, an the Pounding Father's restaurant an brewery, with 2 floors of fun! He says they go to Pounding Fathers for High School Reunion during Sturgis then get to visit biker friends too! Sounds like fun at Pounding Father's, I asked about its name? Pounding for famous pounder beer glasses & brews an father's for Mt. Rushmore. Well, that makes sense! I asked his advise on riding needles, etc? Every year they see new bike owner that buy bike an want to ride Sturgis, but Sturgis is advanced technical riding. If you a new rider, learn an practice at home an become good rider before Sturgis rides hurt you!

got a question on 14 Streetglide special. left side caliber is actually running on the outer side of the rotor. an its fixed caliber. dont understand with new pads. its the 4th set i installed do to miles not this problem. bike has 76000 miles im lost on why or how to fix this problem other then shim on the lfet side it does fix the problem. just its not factory. any ideals thanks Gator.

I ordered my Ohlins front suspension cartridges back in May and still haven't received them. I've paid for them ahead of time and now the riding season is over. I just don't understand why these premium items take so damned long to get. It's not like everyone is running out to buy Ohlins front suspensions with their COVID relief checks. What gives?
