Installing a bathtub spout on a copper stub out is a necessary process when remodeling a bathroom or installing a new bathroom. This tub spout came with a shower and bathtub trim kit that included valve body, shower head and neck, shower handle and shower handle trim ring.
This video was just covering the installation of the tub spout for simplicity. If you need to remove a delta tub spout, you can reverse the process we presented to get an idea of the appropriate steps for tub spout removal.
The tools needed were a pipe cutter for the copper stub out. A supplied allen wrench will help with the set screw removal or installation.
This is within the skill set of many DIYers and especially easy becaus it requires so few tools.
