It amazes me when people say they can't change oil....I think in my head "BS, either you can't, just unwilling to learn or feel it's beneath you" because if that same person can cook easy mac then they can change their oil, roughly same amount of steps. 😆

My fathers friend had one of the first 300C in the Netherlands with the V8 Hemi engine. I remember my friend taking the car when his parent went asleep, we pushed the car with 3 man of the driveway, to start the engine 200 meters further. We where like 15 years old and overhere you need to be 18 for your license. The sound of the V8 was so impressive to me i would never forget that night and the people staring at us when we where at Mcdonalds. Now i am looking for my own 300C and ofcourse one with a V8 Hemi.

My sixteen year old son likes chargers and challengers. He sparked my interest in these cars as well and this paved the way to a closer relationship in a somewhat challenging world for teenagers. I purchased my first charger RT this past year which was exciting for the both of us. My son participated in negotiated the deal and help me take delivery. It was good for him to experience the car buying process and business which is not taught in high school. That is how my interest took off. We enjoy Mopars and have been to the track several times.

Owning my first vehicle really initiated my interest in cars. I would help my father do maintenance on his quite a bit. Wish I would have shown more interest from the beginning to have known more sooner. Now my husband is kind enough and patient enough to let me help and explain. It's intriguing and I never stop wanting to learn more. Really enjoy your videos!!

for the 6 out of 9 vehicles I've owned, I used the Flowmaster Super 40 series exhaust system. at idle it isn't super loud, but when you Rev it or get on it when driving, that is when it yells with that old school muscle car sound (in my opinion) then at cruise speed, it would have a nice good sounding light rumble. my trucks used the 3 inch pipes and the cars used the 2.5 inch or also 3 inch. I can't remember. pretty sure 3 inch as well. not sure why I might be thinking 2.5 inch ha.

I grew up with our dad teaching us how to maintain, diagnose, fix and repair our vehicles. Not just to save money but also to be more self sufficient. As a result growing up I really enjoyed anything that moved under it’s own power and if something broke or needed more power or other improvement while at times stressful was, and still is rewarding to take care of it ourselves. I like seeing things do what their designed to do and pushing them near their limits. I currently drive a 06 6.0 f250 crew cab long bed 4x4. This is my work, tow, and play vehicle it’s had a hard life but is well maintained and runs strong I’d never be able to afford it if I didn’t work on my own stuff and have saved thousands of dollars doing my own repairs and modifications. Really enjoy your videos even if they don’t apply to what I have it’s a good learning experience and maybe I can help someone else. Far as video ideas anything diesel, 4x4, or fast.

I’ve always liked taking things apart to and putting them back together to better understand how things work. And I’ve always preferred fixing things myself instead of paying someone else. I’d say I really got into cars when I got my first. A 1986 FJ60 Toyota Land Cruiser. It’s old and rusty but with regular maintenance I learned from various family members, the internet, and the car manual itself it’s more reliable than the 2006 Ford Escape that we had. My land cruiser doesn’t get much drive time nowadays but hopefully I can learn just enough to swap the frame and replace the leaf springs before next fall.

I installed the factory cat back exhaust from my '12 Challenger on our '14 300C, used two 4" spacers and had 2 extra clamps, bolted right up like stock and has that nasty hemi rumble at idle, pretty quiet when driving it and the 2.5" exhaust tubing really woke it up(stock is 2.25"). Had to shut off MDS with my tuner tool as the drone was very noticeable when it would come on, no more drone and runs great, and hauls a$$! Also cost me a total of 8 bucks for 2 ea. 2.5" ID extensions at the auto parts store. Great video for someone who is contemplating a cat back exhaust upgrade! I'd use some anti-seize on the ends of the factory mid pipes to facilitate installation, and make it easier if you ever need to remove it again.

I bought my first car @ 15 for $15, a 65 Nova. It had a 6 banger with a rod through the block. I pulled it out and built a 283 (60 over) with domed pistons, a solid cam, and, did my own 3 angle valve job (big back then:). Found a Munci M21 and a 456 rear end. Added an aluminum high rise with a holley 650, headers and then got into all kinds of trouble. I used to go to the court house on Fridays to pay my tickets..LOL. I also built a Vega, and an El Camino years ago, and today have a Hemi Charger in the driveway and a Hellcat Challenger in the garage.

I’d love to have that messed up piston! Nobody in my family has ever really been big on cars, and neither was I until I got one. As soon as I got one though, I got to work tearing into it. I dove straight into replacing my rear wheel bearings and suspension after never having worked on a car in my life. That was a serious challenge and there were plenty of times where I thought I had completely screwed myself and my car would never be drivable again. I must say though, the feeling of accomplishment after every project I finish I totally worth it though. Now I’ve got my own dirt bike and am in the process of buying my first truck as well!! It’s so exciting to have my own little fleet of vehicles. I’m also currently going to college for automotive technology which I never thought I would, but here I am. Cars really are my passion and I just figured I’d share my story online because I’ve never told anyone how I really got started :-)

The part-shipping is now gone but my interest in cars was brought to me by my sister who seemed to love them back in the day. Now she likes them but not that hell of a lot. I am the car guy of the family that wants to Supercharge his V8 (and the only crazy enough to have a V8 in his garage). And I have also a question: How can I make this car have a little more like a burbling sound? I saw a Challenger have that only by doing a resonator delete, but these ones sound a bit different when doing that. Would it need a completely new catback and headers?

Will a muffler from a Diesel engine work the for a gas engine? My FJ60’s muffler is a bit busted but I’ve got a muffler from a BJ60 in pretty decent shape and wondering if there’s a difference.

Did you reinstall the crossmember? I just install a complete Magna Flow exhaust and it will not go back due to size of pipes. I just ordered a custom cam setup and Jay Greene tune. summer is going to be fun. I also tried lowering the front of my AWD and there is no kit. I was able to level the car with 1 1/2 rear lowering setup from eibach. Videos are great.

@ReignitedAuto
@ReignitedAuto 3 жыл бұрын
It's not too bad until you hit about 65+mph, then it's truly awful 😄 The only way I could live with it is by removing the MDS system. If it stays in 8cyl mode it's not too bad.

I have a question for you hopefully you can give me some in site. I have a 2018 Dodge Charger I was think of getting a stroker kit. What do you recommend if it’s just going to be for the street weekend car, and do the cylinders need to be bored? Any help would be great thanks.
@ReignitedAuto
@ReignitedAuto 3 жыл бұрын
I don't have any direct experience with a stroker kit. I think it would be cool, and the extra torque would be nice, but I think for the same money you could upgrade your 5.7 significantly and realize similar gains in power. Cylinders shouldn't need to be done unless there's been an issue with blow-by, which I doubt.

What would this kit do to my 2020 V6 Charger GT and would I be ok with this kit living in California?
@ReignitedAuto
@ReignitedAuto 2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately this setup is only designed to fit the Hemi powered vehicles, and the pre-2009 models at that. Honestly I don't think an exhaust like this sounds very good on a v6 engine, they just end up sounding obnoxious in my opinion. As far as legality, I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't pass inspection since it doesn't affect anything emissions wise, but who knows with California?

I've got a 2009 300c awd. Been a great car except the leather seats dont last. They cracked to shit after a few years. All those cat back kits are way overpriced for what you get. If the stock exhaust is still good just rip out the suitcase muffler and clamp a couple feet of straight pipe in its place. Would sound basically the same for way cheap. Like 20 bucks worth of pipe and clamps.
