mark where base hits corner. use a topset gouger scribe material from back of base. 2 to 3 cuts. Pinch it to make it roll around corner. Add glue and use super glue to seal tops

Butt the rubber base on wall and mark the outside corner , then cut about an eight or a hair less to the right of that mark that you did , score it deep but not to where it cuts through , fold it so the fibers from that cut can stretch , then cut the right side and left side of that cut so you can take some of that meat off , shave it with your utility blade , and you have a perfect outside corner

It can be but it's not advisable. It'll be hard to get paint to stick reliably, and if the vinyl flexes at all or as people kick it, the paint will easily flake off. Best bet is to just pick a color that compliments your walls and floor. You can usually get this in white, black, gray, and varying shades of brown.
