pretty sweet, love that the kiddo is learning by doing!! Those bolts are long enough you could add several more spacers. Storage is ALWAYS a plus in small campers..You mentioned a wet tarp but I was thinking a folding shovel, small ax or hatchet, folding saw, folding water bags etc

Perhaps a bit of the butyl around the edges to cushion any vibration between edges and cables.
