This was very helpful! Thank you for the detailed instructions. : ) There was a warning when I looked at the installation process running within the console. "Warning: caught exception 'Torch not compiled with CUDA enabled', memory monitor disabled" May this cause some problems later on???

This is a Python heavy software and need a high GPU capacity to run it soomthly. Unfortunately MAC1 is not designed for such tasks. Upgrade to other high GPU computer or use Cloud based AI service is the solution

Open [space] dot “open .” OR you can manually locate to that stable diffusion directory by searching the folder in your Mac

I use --xformers --no-half-vae --medvram --opt-split-attention --always-batch-cond-uncond and was able to lower my vram usage significantly.

That's not an error, that's just a notice which can be ignored (unless it's causing you problems)

best guess is due to the low GPU capacity, I usually kill some background programs in Monitor and leave the GPU for the stable diffusion. So basically you only run stable diffusion and no other software at the same time

You made a mistake, you didn't copy the entire code of the first line. You must copy the entire line of code to create a PATH. You also got an error. You see. Please copy and paste the entire line "(echo; echo 'eval "$(/opt/homebrew/bin/brew shellenv)"') >> /Users/pcname/.zprofile" otherwise you will get this error "zsh: parse error near `)'" She made a fantastic video, but may be by mistake she didn't copy the entire code, so please don't do this mistake you guys.
