It didnt work for me. Didnt ask for a restart, i did anyway and nothing shows in device manager or mouse properties. Is as if it didnt do a thing. Still cant get the scroll option to work. Any ideas?

It depends on your computer's compatibility first check if your computer supports synaptics or ps/2 or not if yes then go with it it will work.

hey guys, to those who did not get the same result as what the tutorial video showed, here is the other options you could do so that the application will work. It works on me, so I hope this helps to you. 1. Download the synaptics and extract. 2. Go to your Device manager and find the "mice and other pointing devices". 3. Select the PS/2 port as this the touchpad of your laptop. 4. Right click it and then you will see "update driver". 5. In there, click the "Browse my computer for drivers". 6. Choose the "Let me pick a list of available drivers in my computer". 7. Check the "Show compatible hardware" and the model should show below. 8. Select the PS/2 model that will show and then click the "Have Disk". 9. In there, Browse your downloaded synaptics folder and then open the WinWDF and choose the runtime that your laptop has. 10. If you are on 64bit, choose x64, for 32bit laptops, just choose x86. 11. Then select the "SynPD" click okay and then follow the instructions. It will tell you to restart the laptop. 12. After restart, check back your mouse settings or the toggle area near the clock and date on the right side of your taskbar and if you see a touchpad icon, hover your cursor there and it will show the synaptic pointing device. If it does work, then you will eventually use the gestures immediately. Hope this helps. Like this comment.
