Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. I was only vaguely aware of the Clean UI and it wasn't on my shortlist of mods to get until I watched this video. Also, a step-by-step installation tutorial by your lovely self is a bonus.

The dark mode version is my favorite. Never liked the white version when I saw other KZfaqrs use it

The clean UI makes TS2 looks like the better version of TS4 in my opinion

tysm i love it ♥but i have one problem. i still see default size windows in cas etc even if i choose other ones :cc also i choose option with beeing able to delete families and i dont see the delete button

im having some problems with it, it widdens the selection screen for the custom skins in the sims 2, but i cant click on the ones too far to the right

@@Bunniieee hi! the clean ui mod requires every expansion pack plus m&g, but the mac version (super collection) doesn't feature all the EPs. i still installed it and it looked pretty neat! for the base folder, i think it was under [library > application support > search for "aspyr" or "sims 2"]. to be honest, i deleted the game because i messed up the neighborhoods so i have to do another clean install. if you got more questions i'd be happy to answer

so i did everything according to the video but now when i try to open my game it gives an error saying the game is either not installed or some needed files are gone? but i didn't delete anything and simply dragged the files into their respective folders? so i do not understand why it is giving me an error.

Hello CozyPixels i just downloaded the clean UI and it appears that i have missing texts (days, needs...) and when i hover wants and fears it says "#### missing strings". Do you know why this may happens ?

i do not have a basegame folder at all....my collections folder has the expansions but they are all like the zip files and not folders so i dont know where to put the install folder stuff at all

i have the clean ui working but the string that shows up after you leave your cursor on the pause, create a family and many more is still normal yellowish for me and not white. i don't know why but i would like to have the clean one instead of the yellow one

This might be a silly question, but does anyone know if/how this overrides the loading screens during gameplay, as in when a Sim is travelling or when a family is loading? Because mine are still blue, and I feel like I'm missing something! Everything else looks amazing

It's caused my game to crash on launch in Windows 11. It worked on Windows 10 though.

Hey Klau, I need some help 😭 (sorry for my bad english) My loading screen doesnt work :( the mod works correctly in gameplay but my loading screen is black 😭😭 I follow all instructions step by step but doesnt work correctly :(

Hi Alessandra! No worries, by loading screen you mean the first loading when you open up the game? Can you try to launch without the custom loading screen I showed and just with the one that is included with the Clean UI mod to see if that works?

@@CozyPixels oh thank you for answering! With loading screen i mean the screen that shows "The sims 2 mansion garden stuff" with the charge bar (this dont change, looks exactly that without mod) and then the neighborhood screen is the screen that shows in black with an image very tiny in the corner of the screen I tried with many screen loadings (I tried also with screen loadings included in the clean ui mod) and the one that shows on the video but I dont see any change with no one
