Nope. Battery no need to be detached. Woofer power source need to be detached.

This car have installed DSP, DSP using plug and play harness to connect to head unit. And under seat sub connect to DSP using RCA.

Also the pos shouldnt have been used where you did. Use the 13mmthat connects the battery terminal to the harness not the little one

Is blue wire(remote wire) same to all plug and play cable.

Not sure about others, but ours plug and play harness have remote wire.

Impressed with the install up to the plastic fuse holder. Its crap. Don't use them please. Otger then that great job

Using screw also an option, we follow customer request not to drill any hole under seat. Velcro stable enough.
