If you build out the block wall with two or three rows of horizontal spacers even with the face of the block column bump outs you could attach all the posts to either the column bump out or the horizontal spacer. Less digging and chipping concrete. Great job in any case. Looks nice. And great videos you guys do. Keep them coming. Thanks from Maine.

Vinyl fencing looks awesome. Homeowner gets the extra height and it hides the block wall. This is a good transformation! (your videos are better than Dad's)

I'm surprised you couldn't find a spacer to even out posts and columns, it would be much faster than jacking out all the wall footings.

Came out really nice. Personally, I wouldn't have covered up that block wall and just put fencing in the front. If they felt it was ugly they should have just stucco'ed it since they have to do the house anyways.

We put 4 x 4 wood post inside the vynal post. Hurricanes are tough on vyni fences.

Thought you said it was a vinyl topper. I can only imagine all the leaves and other crap that’s going to fall between the block wall and vinyl fence making it bow in. Then the rats and mice that will live in there. I get you’re doing want the HO wanted but not a good idea on their part. Again, would have been wiser and cheaper just to add a couple courses to the wall and stucco or paint. Looks like there’s been a lot of bad decisions made by those people in that home based on the problems you’re fixing.

Vinyl fencing is great until the wind blows.

You should have had half inch or 3/8 rebar bent in a little square and put around each one of them post so that it wouldn't crack around the post if you put that rebar in a circle or in a little square have it bent the concrete will never crack around the post

I wonder why you don't demolish the house too? It doesn't look that nice anymore. It would be the perfect opportunity to rebuild the house at the same time. Or has it become so expensive in America? I would rebuild it. That way you have peace of mind for years with repairs and can enjoy the sunset in a more relaxed way.

Do they make an attachment that the Bobcat uses to dig post holes? Seems like that would have been a big timer saver!

I would have just used 2x4 tack on the wall, where my tacks would be and bang no need to brake footings
