We have made an expert video on how to install wall tiles. Tiles improve the aesthetic appeal of the place as much as it gives a long-term benefit, that is established. However, is it possible to lay wall tiles on your own? What are the things you need to keep in mind while installing them? What are the raw materials that you may need? What safety gear is mandatory before proceeding to lay them? These are the questions you must ask yourself before you venture out to install the wall tiles alone. Although it is best assigned to an expert, you can keep yourself updated about the procedure.
The first thing you will need is to own a set of safety gear like safety glasses, gloves, etc. The next things on the list are the raw materials like tiles, epoxy grout, sand, cement, sealer, etc. You need to also ensure that the tiles going on one wall are from the same batch to maintain uniformity. Everything from prepping the wall, your tiles, and making the mixture to help install the tiles on the wall is a step-by-step detailed procedure. Failure of which, might not give you the desired end result.
Pro tip: Segregate the tiles as per their batch numbers, broken tile pieces can be used for cut pieces, before prepping the tile for installation ensure they are perfect in size, shape and have no cracks. Wet the tiles for at least 30 minutes before installing them and follow the markers on the tiles always. These are some of the pro tips that you might need to install the tiles.
