Thanks for the video. I have converted our Renault Trafic LWB van into a Touring Van and know how much work it is. Great job so far guys. One thing. Please protect your eyes when removing the rust with those rotating steel brushes. Bits can fly off. I look forward to watching all your videos. You have a new subscriber.

Hey, great videos, I am converting a Renault Trafic SWB now so this is super helpful (essentially its exactly the same van as yours). Quick question: how much sound deadening did you buy for the van? And did you put any on the wheel arches? Cheers! Sam

On a 2011 Vivaro LWB I can't cut out that square due to a supporting strut being in the way, now I'm screwed, have that same vent as you without the fan. I am now considering a mushroom vent at the rear.

Great video, I am busy converting the same vehicle however I'm curious if there is any tips you have when installing the windows. It looks simple enough however maybe there is some issues that you encountered that we're not in the video. Any tips or advise will be greatly appreciated.

just curious, why dont you use a jigsaw when cutting the metal panels? would it not leave a neater edge? liking the videos guys, well put together and each step explained clearly, big thumbs up

Hi, just saw your video and was wondering how the fan worked out for you? Is it necessary to have an electrical one, or just a simple opening in the ceiling would do fine?

Hello! I know this is a VERY late response, but the fan is brilliant, I have one in my current conversion (Dork) and I would highly recommend putting in the turbo kit, although there are no option to change speed settings, which is slightly annoying, as it is then 100% all the time.

Yayy, that is so awesome to hear. I hope you find it helpful and I apologise in advance for any bad music choices. They were my first vlogs and I have learnt my lesson since 😂. I have bought 2 vivaros 2 years ago and both were around £4k at 100k miles :).

Thank you so much! I used the Fiamma Vent 28 Rooflight Crystal, then purchased a turbo kit for it to have a fan for this build. It seems that the seller has stopped distributing on eBay since I posted the video. Good luck with the build ✌🏼.

Do you need to change the insurance when putting in windows?

You will always need to update your insurance if you make any modifications to a vehicle, whether the price changes I'm not too sure. I have always started off with motorhome or DIY camper insurance on my vans and I would always list my windows as part of the key features in my van 🤗. Hope this helps

what was the purpose for the layer of primer?

Primer is normally used to apply on surfaces prior to painting to prevent rust from occurring on metal surfaces.

But I tuned in to see the insertion of the side window! (Violent sobbing followed by crackerdog - writhing on floor, with little legs convulsing). Drawn in by a false promise in the header - please send vegan cakes by way of compensation.
