How to Install WordPress Locally on Windows for Beginners from Scratch

In this video, I'm going to teach you how to install WordPress locally on Windows step-by-step for beginners from scratch. First of all, I recommend you install XAMPP on your computer to run server services such apache, php, and MySQL on your computer. Then, you can download a WordPress zip file from wordpress.org and you can start install WordPress on your local machine.

So Easy. I've had issues for years, and this was so simple compared to the other solutions I was trying to host a local site with. How would you host multiple local wordpress sites? Creating another folder obviously in htdocs, but what port and how would you assign another port for another local host?

Yes, create another folder. They all use the same port. Just put the folder name at the end of localhost
