im thinking ...once u installed this yosmite on acer...can u install mac softwares Like final cut pro ?

Hi Marchrius - not sure if you remember me but we had a chat on your old site when regarding snow leopard haha! I've tried following your guide but when I get to extracting the Kernel using Pacifist, it gives me an error half way through the extraction saying "file does not exist" (it actually says a lot more than that but it's really long). Do you have any ideas? Up until that point I do everything the same and it's driving me crazy! Great work as always, hope you are well :-)

I'm stupid haha, I literally just realised tonight that I was using the version I have on my Powermac G5 so it clearly wasn't doing it properly. Probably won't get time to work through the rest of it tonight but I'm sure I'll be pestering you some more! Oh, and just swapped over my wifi card for an apple broadcom one I bought ages ago and used your DSDT and boom! Airport fully functional as soon as I started it up :-) Thanks again!

Marchrius E. Ok, so I've got as far as kextcache -u /Volumes/OS \X Base\ System (12mins20secs in the video) and I'm getting /Volumes/OS \X Base\ System: unrecognized bootcaches.plist data; skipping /Volumes/OS \X Base\ System: no /usr/standalone/bootcaches.plist; nothing to do I'm guessing there's something in there which is stopping it but I don't know what - honestly don't know enough about clover and how it works. Any ideas?

Andrew George What is the version of the system where you create the USB drive?

Marchrius E. 10.6.8 - I thought maybe that might be an issue so I was trying to follow your Mavericks or Mountain Lion guides on Insanelymac but the pictures won't load anymore (I guess they've been archived or something) which makes it sort of hard.

Hi! Comments on your blog don't working. I installed Yosemite 10.10.5 on my 6930G step by step on your video tutorial, videocard has been recognised Acer GeForce 9600m GS 512MB, change resolution working, external monitor plug via HDMI working, in about system write - driver installed, but hardware acceleration qe/ci is not working. Used method - Clover inject Nvidia. All files from your blog: DSDT, Extensions, Clover config.plist..... Do you have any idea? Thank you.

Hello: I can not download "All in One Yosemite Files", I trying register in blog but i have some problems with catpcha "ERRORE: Unreadable CAPTCHA cookie" and i writing good the captcha. I try with other internet explorers but i can not. You upload these archives for example to googledrive?, i need this hackintosh. Very thanks anyway

ciao ho un problema a recuperare i kexts dal tuo sito poiché mi fallisce la registrazione ( problema captcha), non é che potresti risolvere il problema o uploaddare i kexts da un altra parte ? grazie

Hi Marchrius E. Been trying to get this installed on my old acer 9630g (Stock) have made a VM with both mavericks and yosemite. have followed each step to the letter multiple times, but every time i get to building the kextcache it fails. on yosemite it says invalid signature (omitted) for all the kexts even after booting with dev mode =1 on mavericks it takes the command but does nothing have tried all types of fixes for these problems, but this is baffling me any help would be appreciated thanks

adam giles Hi. Is the computer 9630G or 6930G? They are different. For the kernelcache problem, what's the output of the command? Have you replaced the IOPCIFamily.kext and fixed permissions?

I followed what you did on the video and replaced all the kexts and unlocked and unchecked ignore ownership. on yosemite it says ###.kext has invalid signature ommiting over and over again (where ### is the name of every kext in the folder I think there is a long list). On mavericks there is no output at all after inputting the command, jusr gives bash again

You have to do some different steps (add more kexts for example). You can follow my video to create the USB Key (From 0:00 to 8:06)
