If you don’t want to use floating selvedges when weaving with two shuttles, use this method of interlocking your weft threads around each other for tidy edges. With shadow weave, you will always be weaving with two shuttles (as Jannie is doing in this video) but this technique also works for other weave structures.
When both shuttles are on the same side and the last weft goes over the last warp thread, go over that weft thread with the other weft thread; when it’s under, go under it. It’s easy to remember: over, over and under, under!
