Hey man, this is some good advice but I would have liked if you gave more examples and touched different scenarios. As a fellow person who struggles with good intros, I am aware of the general structure I should be following and stuff that you talk about, but I dont know how to switch up things in different scenarios, like interview, work colleague, new friends, dates - are 4 completely different scenarios and in each one the structure would probably be different. So if you could give more examples that'd be pretty cool - examples as in you speaking intros for a fictional character in different situations. Thanks for the content!

Crap, apparently my comment didn't post. I had written something to the effect. Thank you and I totally agree. I'm producing as much content as I can while keeping up with grading and students emails/committee work. BUT, I hope to knock out a supplement/follow up video to this that address how to adapt your self intro to different contexts. My students were only producing a self intro for something like a business meeting or professional setting, so I left this video to that context. I hope I can script, record, and edit that supplement some time in October maybe.
