YOU HERO! Dead 7 sitting outside and was wondering how the F to access the trunk as all has failed………apparently you don’t need to, who suddenly answers so many questions :)

does the key fod need to be in the ignigtion

Do I have to leave the key fob in the ignition to charge the car or do I have to take it out Will it still charge With key fob in ignition

I always hook up directly to the battery to charge. Can I charge from the front?

You can but it’s always recommended from the battery directly

I read never charge directly to battery (which I was doing) because of the electronics. The charge needs to go through the entire circuit so as to not damage the computer and system.
