Put the car in Power mode (as you had it) to start the gasoline engine and keep it running.

Great tutorial Video. By the way was it easy to change the 12v battery just like any other non hybrid car? Or Does it required any computer setting that only the dealer can do.

Just did mine. No need to reprogram the computer. Just replace it like you do on any older car.

i have 2016 96k and battery died.Toyota needs to fix this common problem in these models why its draining battery.

My Prius just went completely dead on me... It was working fine, I shut it off and won't turn back on... Nothing. Not even hazard lights, nothing at all.... Beyond pist right now. Not buying a Prius again.
