you talked the truth and I am having 2 turtles since 2014 and they have become big but anyone tells me to give them away I will never think of doing this and the truth is i do their cleaning drying and giving them good and health food and I even took one of the sick turtle to doctor today he is very healthy plus i finish their work very soon. this turtle is a blessing for me and i can feel the blessing coming to my house

Hello, just here to correct some of your misconceptions regarding red eared sliders. Firstly, red eared sliders should BE KEPT ENTIRELY UNDER WATER. They are fantastic swimmers, they have webbed feet for a reason. If they can't swim well, their feets would be similar to a tortoise species, feets meant for walking. Turtles in the wild swim in ponds and marshes that are pretty deep. Do they drown? No. Why? Because they're good swimmers. Secondly, red eared sliders LOVE WATER, it's their home to them and give them this sense of security. Why? Firstly, you'll have to understand why do red eared sliders come up to land. They come up ONLY TO BASK AND LAY EGGS (for females), THAT'S ALL. Not because they want to take a walk or whatever. When they are basking and the see danger (predator animals), they slide into the water quickly, one of the reason why they're called SLIDERS because they SLIDE into the water really quickly whenever they sense danger. Thirdly, keeping your turtle in a tank WILL NOT STUNT THEIR GROWTH. The only way they would stun their growth is when their enclosure if wayy too small like yur turtle's enclosure. (side note, please upgrade your turtle's tank) Lastly, you shouldn't bring them out daily in the house for no reason. Turtle's rather be in the water and in their enclosure because THEY FEEL SAFE. The only reason why you should take your turtle out is to let it sit in the SUN(NOT IN THE HOUSE) to absorb those natural UVA/UVB rays that the sun provides. Hope this helped clear up some misconceptions you have about turtles. Also, do your research before you create a video on educating people on the wrong turtle care thanks :) Feel free to do your own research on how to take care of these precious animals PROPERLY if you don't believe me ;)

Bro the thing what you said about eye disease is different of course we have to keep the water clean for a good health but it causes because of lack of vitamin-A deficiency it can be treated with a simple syrup which contains all the vitamins. Just add 3ml syrup in a 20 liters bucket of water and keep on adding 3ml for next 3 day then change the water and repeat the same for 1-2 weeks it will definitely recovery.

Actually i had a turtle frm last 5 yrs bt i released him in river ganga becoz he always tries to escape. He killed 3 of my fishes. Then i kept him in another aquarium whr he tries escaping. He was a local turtle so i left him to his natural habitat coz i have a feeling that he has been prisoned.🙄 I miss him bt i think he will be happy now🤗 Well i have a another little turtle🙂

i kept 2 turtles in my life and both the turtles lived for 6 months after that they died. upto now i couldn’t understand why they died.
