I would love a slower motion version of how you rolled the cover on to the duvet. It looks so easy, but I struggle with doing things like that!

There are many many videos of how to do that, called burrito style. They are all very well explained. I play them each time I wash my duvet cover - I have a good idea each time, but the videos are short and well worth watching anew each time. Best of luck….

@INFINITIDY3 жыл бұрын
Actually color code the ribbons is a great idea!
@suebean38732 жыл бұрын
I agree with Infinitidy, that’s a great idea, to colour code it. Not dumb at all.

Ok but why does my duvet cover never fit the duvet insert? I get the same sizes
@suebean38732 жыл бұрын
Maybe you do what I did today. My duvet is a bit wider than long and of course I put the duvet on the wrong way. It looked horrible, so I switched it, I put the wider part on the width of the bed and the shorter end of it on the length of the mattress and voila, that was the trick and it looks great now. Its only like 8-9 inches longer one way and made all the difference in the world by rotating it one more time.

@@suebean3873 I've tried that too, but it's still off 😭 the duvet sticks out of the buttoned end of the covers . Perhaps it's my sheets. They are not expensive. I also sew loops into every corner of the duvet and sew strings in every corner of the bedsheets to tie them off and prevent duvet from slipping around but I can't win lol

I do the same but I did it by sewing machine, same idea.

but how to sew tho....
@bcook73834 жыл бұрын
Plenty of videos to teach you that--hand sewing as she did in the video, or machine sewing--just search KZfaq. If books are more your thing (although I'm guessing not, since you're commenting on here), the Vogue Sewing book is also supposed to be good, but since my mom taught me to sew I've never read it.

Can you please come and do this for me?
@catemackay19113 жыл бұрын
Lovely video, great instructions and you have a beautiful voice. May I just suggest that things are ‘sewn’ on as opposed to sew on? It is an unusual verb with an even more unusual past tense!
@INFINITIDY3 жыл бұрын
noted! thank you for pointing that out :)

中国的被套被芯四角都又束带,英国买的这被芯不管多贵,半夜都在被套里头滚做一团,气死人了
@suebean38732 жыл бұрын
Yep, you need to add a few of them, 4 in corners and add 4 in the middle of each sides. I did that today, 4 is not enough, I agree. I have at least 8 of them…
