Dandelion greens would be the first option or second? Im going with the first sealed bag dry.

Great tips as always 👍🏻For bell peppers, I always remove them from any plastic bags and leave them loose in the crisper drawer. I think this keeps them fresher longer.

For the plastic spinach boxes, the easy/lazy way to make them last longer is just use a paper towel to wipe the condensation off the underside of the lid right before closing and returning it to the fridge.

If you wrap lettuce in foil, it will last almost indefinitely. Same for celery.

I’ve found 40 F works in my climate. But it may be different where you live.

So what is a good temp to keep your fridge at?

I think it all depends on your particular make of fridge. Not too cold so things are freezing in the veggie drawer but not so hot your condiments are melting lol. I always gauge it by how my produce is doing. Hope that helps a bit 😊

You mentioned temperature for the refrigerator but never said what temp you like or that worked best, can you share?

Ah! 🤦🏻‍♀️I have mine set to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. I live in the high desert, so I think it might be different if you live in a very warm humid place, but that’s a good spot to start that works for me, and maybe it will work for you too.

Looking at this video, I would say there is a way around using paper towels: Use thin muslin cloth. There is far too much use of virgin paper in this video.

Hey Naomi, yeah agreed. This video is pretty old and is what worked the best with that particular fridge. I don’t live there anymore and now I have access to a greenhouse where I grow the majority of my greens and I just keep them in a glass jar with water in the fridge and it works great. Eating them pretty fast as well keeps everything fresh too lol.
