Over here in Malaysia, we can get the moringa fruit from the market. Locally, it is called buah kelor. The fruit is cut into three-inch pieces and cooked in curry with coconut milk. Such curry is absolutely delicious (at least, for us in Malaysia). I am unaware of the health benefits of moringa until recently. I am delighted that something so common place is now being lauded for its health benefits.

I have been mindlessly enjoying what seemed like 10 -15 different species of bees all coming to my Moringa tree the past few months. It was so cute to see them enoying the flowers of the tree. @@GrowMoringa I just received 50 Moringa seeds from Florida with planting instructions. I`m in central Louisiana so I`ll have to bring plants/cuttings indoors to overwinter but I have two very bright LED grow lights and plan to learn indoor growing, especially lettuce. I got seven tabletop indoor hydroponic gardens and over 30 pounds of dry nutrients you mix into the water ahead of this fertilizer shortage. I`ll likely use it to water my outdoor garden plants too if needed.

I venture to say that it's not just moringa trees that would do better in partial shade. These past few years have been very hot and damaging to plants in geographical areas that have not had these problems before. I live in Florida, in Gulfport, and this past summer has been brutal. The plants that got partial shade from the trees (in pots and out of pots) did ever so much better than those that didn't. I believe that due to the sun's changes and our shifting planet, our growing methods have to change or we will continue to lose food and ornamental crops. The big growers are going to have some challenges, as provisions for shade and moisture in hard times are going to be expensive and require re-thinking how we grow things. Covering the soil with organic mulch and plastic "mulch" may be needed. I have two moringa trees. I have yet to eat any leaves from them, as they are both still young. One got broken off, and I made cuttings and planted them next to the mother plant. I hope they set roots. The mother plant is already making side shoots. Thank you for your very good video.

Scientists have confirmed that plants in nature do communicate with each other and even share nutrients and water with weaker ones that aren`t doing as well. I grew up on a five acre very busy farm in Louisiana and have decided to grow some exotic plant varieties we never planted mainly as nutrient/protein dense prepping foods. I`m moving soon and I imagine my yard and home will eventually become a plants freak show. So I`m ordering tons of different types of heirloom seeds and plants and have gotten grow lights, a greenhouse, and seven indoor tabletop hydroponic gardens so I can have lettuce and herbs all year and over-winter things like peppers. My poor bees died. They were always very friendly. Now we have the Africanized bees in the area and I saw one serious attack and decided not to get another hive. Dealing with yellowjackets here is bad as it is. I don`t want honeybees attacking me too. We have a very mean dark colored wild honeybee here, I believe a tough Russian breed the old beekeepers used to raise, but new forms of beekeeping with calmer Italian bees made them stop messing with the mean ones.

Thank you. I'm so happy I found this video. I am growing 2 MORINGA trees from seed. One is about 6 inches tall the other is about 3 inches tall. I am growing them inside in pots at my kitchen window. I do not plan on putting them outside as Im in a tiny condo (no patio or yard). ❓❓❓ Will this process also help me keep them small as well as bushy? Any recommendations for indoor growing?

Yes absolutely, I have a free moringa manual that talks about balcony indoor growing at growmoringa.com 1)feed with BioStimulant liquid soil amendment at my shop, it’s made from moringa leaves and moringa trees also love it to grow well, 2) keep a fan on it helps to keep the soil dry on top to avoid pests and keeps the stem sturdy and strong like it would be outside. +Kendrick

I’m in the Eastern side of the Western shore Dundalk, Maryland 21222 and I want to keep it short and bushy. Should I take the upper limbs off and keep the main trunk going? Have 6 trees planted here in Arkansas, hope they survive the winter. Cut them back, covered with tubs and mulched around the bottoms. Do you think i should cover the whole tubs with mulch? Also planted the cuttings, they all sprouted, but now are not looking as good
@GrowMoringa
@GrowMoringa 9 ай бұрын
Hi there! It sounds like you've taken some great steps to protect your moringa trees for the winter. Covering the whole tubs with mulch can provide additional insulation, especially if you're expecting harsh winter conditions. As for the cuttings, they might need a bit of extra care. Ensure they're not overwatered, and consider placing them in a sheltered area. Gardening can be a bit of an experiment, so keep a close eye on them, and hopefully, they'll bounce back. Best of luck with your moringa trees in Arkansas! Shop now here at growmoringa.shop Moringa Love +Marie

I’m in 9 B zone in San Diego ca. my tree is planted in a huge tire tractor for its roots to grow. My Miranga tree lost all its leaves. It’s over 8ft tall. It looks dormant. Will the leaves grow back and become big and bushy? How do I get this Moranga tree Bushy. I cut it back once and it was still sparse in leaves. What can I do to get a bushy healthy tree
@GrowMoringa
@GrowMoringa 4 ай бұрын
Wonderful! Cutting it back is good, the tire could be helping..or, it could be also heating up too much because that tire can be hot, but the earth is actually cool, just under the surface, but the tire could be heating up the surrounding surface levels. Does nature use tires? nature usually uses mulch, good soil and compost. You may want to dig her out of the tire, dig a hole and fill with good soil, and cover the surrounding area with mulch of some kind. I've only grown in florida and we have oak trees everywhere. Mulch is abundant. She could also use some FOOD! feed her some of my organic fertilizer, we make it from moringa leaves. Its USDA organic and helps with all plants, especially moringa. Grab your BIOBOX here to make her grow BIG. growmoringa.shop/products/biobox Thanks! +Kendrick

I live in Phoenix AZ. I have tried on four different occasions to grow a Moringa tree. They have all died at the soil level. They get a dent, or divot in their trunk and they just fall over. Someone told me it is inconsistent watering. How much water should a little 6-8” tree get? Our sun is brutally hot, so I have them in mostly shade, and water a little each evening.

Hi, I’m in Clearwater FL and have a bunch of stick cuttings from my big happy trees that are growing well. However, I grouped several sticks, like 7-10, together in 2 gal buckets and I’m wondering at what point should I separate them? It’s been almost a month and they all have healthy new growth coming in. Honestly I didn’t expect them all to take but they did and I know they’ll need more space but don’t want to stress new roots too soon. Any advice is much appreciated!

I found a tree about 4-5ft tall in a 5gallon pot. Zone 9 Gulf coast of Texas. Should I repot and cut back. Should I plant into ground or wait til Spring? New to this.
@GrowMoringa
@GrowMoringa 10 ай бұрын
It sounds like you have a promising Moringa tree! In Zone 9 along the Gulf Coast of Texas, you're in an ideal region for Moringa to thrive. Here are some suggestions: Repotting: If your Moringa tree is getting a bit crowded in its 5-gallon pot, it might be a good idea to consider repotting it into a larger container. Make sure the new pot has good drainage. Moringa trees appreciate room for their roots to spread. Pruning: You can prune the tree, but do it gently. Moringa trees respond well to pruning to encourage bushier growth. However, it's essential not to trim too much at once, especially if it's still relatively young. A light trim is usually sufficient. Planting in the Ground: If you plan to eventually plant it in the ground, consider doing so in the spring when the soil is warmer. Moringa trees love warm soil, and planting in spring provides them with the best start. Moringa Love +Marie
