I can relate. I bent over backwards for my ex. I made her my focus. And that turned her off. And I didn’t respect her distance, instead I kept simping. Being the perfect, reasonable, empathetic, listening, boyfriend to figure out what’s wrong. If I waited maybe a month, or made my time rare she would’ve been all over me, because suddenly, all that validation and attention is gone. Women do not like stable relationships, they prefer the roller coaster. High and lows. After her, and half a year of reflective solitude, I learned my lesson. I won’t repeat the same mistake.
