Some important things I forgot to mention are 1. Keeping your house on a schedule- clean the bathrooms on a specific day, change the bedding on a specific day, order groceries on a specific day that way your not overwhelming and feeling like you need to do everything all at once! I’ll be sharing our specific day/house tasks schedule on my newsletter next month (www.milenaciciotti.com/subscribe) 2. Close the kitchen- I’ve shared this one before but end the night with a clean kitchen so you wake up to a clean one. There’s no better feeling, I promise!!! Closing the kitchen means, putting away food/left overs, running the dishes off, cleaning all the pots & pans (leaving them to dry overnight), vacuuming & wiping down countertops & sink!

Milena, you’re truly awesome. I’m getting married in October of 2024 and I keep hearing the “wait to have kids til you’re 30” and “enjoy your marriage while you still can” and it’s been really frustrating. Watching you with your husband and your sweet babies has given me so much confidence in the Lord’s calling of me becoming a wife and God-willing a mother one day. You’ve reminded me the beauty of the Lord’s incredible design of marriage and motherhood. I don’t even have words to say, besides thank you. Thank you for sharing the ups and downs and everything in between. Thank you for your encouragement and being a light in this world. It is so evident that Jesus is with you and your family. Your videos are a breath of fresh air to me and so many others. So truly, thank you

Girl there marriage was on a brink of divorce because they married so young and had kids(They mentioned it in a podcast) do what you feel is best for you! Don’t let what influencers post determine how their relationship really is. I’m married. And I don’t plan on having kids until 30th to be sure both my partner and I are ready. Kids do unfortunately change the dynamic of a relationship whether it’s good or bad. (Yes there’s exceptions)
@ivanaross
@ivanaross Жыл бұрын
@sakuraluvssasukexxx Children do not ruin a marriage. They're not at fault at all. So do not be talking about these precious and lovely, beautiful people like that. I refuse and rebuke that in the mighty name of Jesus right now. The couple are at fault because they let their relationship go. And because their marriage isn't Christ centered, of course, it falls apart or starts to. It is never children's fault that their parents are struggling. It is not the child's job or responsibility for how their parents feel or live. When a person sees children as a burden (which our Heavenly Father does not) then children will always be a burden to that person. That person needs the Lord's mercy and grace and forgiveness for this demonic talk and foolish talk and deliverance.

Also, thank you for the reminder at the end about seeing every thing as a blessing. sweet sweet milena , what an absolute beautiful beautiful video ! i am so so in love with your beautiful joy that radiates from a very intimate yet so intentional relationship with the Lord . it has been so so sweet to see you just lay everything at the feet of the ✞ && just surrender everything over to Him , && the beautiful transformation that flows from within ! it also is just so so beautiful to see how the Lord has grown you && just pruned out all the things . as a woman , it is so so powerful that we pray over our homes && just surround our homes with such beautiful faithfulness . i love how simplistic the Lord has been just continually showing you your home can be && just the beautiful perception that you are portraying through that ! continue to just lean into Him && just transform your home into a home that wholeheartedly reflects Him ! 🥹

Where I live we don't use dishwashers but the tip of not letting the dishes pile up is still valid and it's one I need to work on because I HATE washing dishes 😫 but I should get into the habit of using and washing right away and not putting them in the sink... that way I only have to do a few at a time and not a whole pile of them.

Our home is like this too. Everything has a home & it takes about 15 minutes to reset. I do all of these tips already and I can agree they make THE WORLD OF DIFFERENCE 🙌 I consider home making a ministry in its self. 💗one of my favorite KZfaqrs “Habits of Homemaker(cultivating Godly homes and Character ”changed my whole view on keeping the home. She is filled with so much wisdom & has great tips. I also find that I have so much more time to do things because I’m not have to clean 24-7 systems are the way to go. Our home feels peaceful One thing I do is I have a bin I keep empty and each night before bed I grab the bin and walk around the house and stick anything that may have been taken out of it’s place that day if it didn’t get put back Then I walk to each room and put back the items in there homes. My favorite part is if there’s guest or if the Holy Spirit prompts me to invite someone in Our home it is prepared and will leave the guest feeling at ease and comfortable. 💕

The one load a laundry a day has changed my life . I used to dread sundays because I would have 5-6 loads to do all in one day . Washing and drying isn’t hard for me but I could NOT stand putting them away . Also, I wish I had the luxury of having a dishwasher lol. I have to wash all dishes by hand every single meal so they don’t pile up. All my ladies who don’t have dishwashers, take it one meal at a time, it’s so much easier than having a million to do at the end of the night. 🫶🏻

Milena I would LOVE to see a video by you talking about what kind of prayers you say with your children and over your children. I wasn’t raised as a Christian so my parents did not do any praying with me as a young child and I have a hard enough time trying to know what I should say during prayer as an adult so I definitely have a hard time knowing what to say with my 2 year old daughter. I feel like it gets repetitive and it’s not as deep as I’d like it to be. I would love any recommendations from anyone as to what type of things you say during prayer with your toddler. But I would really love a video from you Milena if you ever see this and consider it! Haha. You are a wonderful mother, so full of love for your kids and I know your prayers must reflect that. ❤️

I still keep my routine 7 days a week but it really helps me do what I really want to do on the weekends which is read and take the kids to the library. When I became a mom for the first time I was overloaded with the overwhelm of house tasks. I was also a working mom. I found Flylady and she saved my life. Now she has an app and I love utilizing it. And I'm the same as you, unload dishwasher in the morning and run it at night. Load a day. And cleaning/wiping down the bathroom.

I’m pregnant with my thirst boy (3 under 3) and I was so sick of being overwhelmed with daily chores when I have so many more important things to worry about. Since decluttering (cuz that has to happen first) and figuring out my systems I’ve been so much more at peace, I have more time for my kids, I’ve been so much less stressed it’s amazing. Still have so much more to declutter and simplify which used to be dreadful for me but now is so exciting because I genuinely can’t wait to feel even more peace. Before when I thought I was decluttering or would do a full house clean it was always dreadful because I knew it wasn’t going to last long. Now I know that what I’m doing is going to be everlasting and that is soooo FREEING❤

Yesss that part when you said you casually pick through your closet if you notice something isn’t used! Our house is constantly in a state of donation and it’s made our home stay decluttered

I absolutely loved this video! As I do many of these things you mentioned my mindset became very overwhelmed by the chores. However, like you mentioned you have to change the way you think to be grateful. Thanks for sharing!! xx

Loved this!!! Started implementing the daily pick up and dishes one a little while ago because of you and it was such a game changer! Love this thank you! P.S I so appreciated and loved seeing the way you interact with your daughter. So healthy! It was such a blessing to see your mothering in action. Shows me there is hope in godly parenting! Would love to see you all cooking together again. Those moments brought me to tears because of how how much hope they gave me! Thank you for all you do!

I do dishes halfway through the day and at the end. I also rinse everything and it saves SOOOOO much time! Breaking it into two parts makes it much more doable. I'm also teaching my littles to rinse their dishes

Still do them right away. The pile up is awful. We grew up leaving our dishes in the sink and ever since a few years ago, I learned the habit to clean them right away and it is glorious. It take so little time bc things aren't stuck to it. If I'm cooking something, I clean as I go as much as I can so there's not a disaster of pots, pans, and bowls to clean

Your house is beautiful this way! I remember watching a video of yours from like 6 months ago, and said “she's going to cut out all the visual clutter soon” I just knew it! I think your home looks better! It's softer, gentler and less busy. Love it both ways but this seems more you 😊

I just found you, and it blows my mind how all of these are word for word what I do! 😂❤ but the baskets 🧺 we have a small one floor house so we just put it away in bins. Ah this is soo cool! I feel like i was way less organized when I had two kids, now, with three kids, this system has become so beautiful! The dishes, laundry AH, yesss!! Thanks for putting it all in a video🥹❤️

I love the tip about 7-10 toys on average. I don't have kids yet, but can only imagine how difficult it may be to keep a tidy home for the most with kids! Having a cleaning routine/schedule is key, as you said in the comments.

I really enjoyed watching this video and hearing all the tips and tricks. Personally, I’ve been implementing these things since moving out of my parents house and getting married part of that was because my parents lived in a cluttered space and so I think my response to living in that kind of space is to personally minimize and make things easier for myself. I will say I have implemented closing out the kitchen which you have mentioned in previous videos and I usually involve my son in the pick up before bathtime. We also had a big D clutter last year and I think I’m itching to have another one this year to further simplify my life. I really love the perspective you have on gratitude towards these tasks, and realizing that there are dirty dishes and dirty laundry, because God has been able to provide us with the provisions of food, and being able to have a space where my son can play. For example, I recently finally organized all his clothes that I had kept in a pile in a spare bedroom closet that he had outgrown, and after I was done, I got really emotional and a praise God, because we’ve been fortunate enough to be able to provide clothing for my son for the past 2 1/2 years and it just overwhelmed my Heart to know I’ve been providing for him.

I'd like to add, find a system that works for you! As there's just the two of us right now, doing 3 loads of laundry once a week (time blocking) instead of 7 loads spread out during the week makes more sense. We also don't have a dishwasher, so I'm ok with seeing a few dishes in the sink all day, and hand wash once a day at night. Lastly, your home furniture can be a huge part of your decor! Decorative rugs, lamps, wall sconces, curtains, side tables, even unique couches and dining sets are a huge part of decor.

Loved this video and these tips! I'm currently in that mode of trying to get daily tasks done plus decluttering/organizing spaces all while taking care of my (currently very clingy) 13 month old son. It feels overwhelming sometimes but implementing these tips may just help. Thanks Milena!
