You have a great information video helping NiM battery recharging understandable. Thank you for your battery chart! I got tired of dancing around with my voltmeter and not understanding charging my batteries. On another site these 1.2 V NiMs should be recharged when getting close to loaded battery remaining charge to 1 volt. It is recommended to put a load on the battery when checking the 1 to 1.2 Volts (many cheap voltmeters have a battery check with load capabilities). Measuring an unloaded battery by probes (without a load) gives faulty more voltage in the battery than there actually is readings because of its chemistry "floating voltage" in the battery.

I have bought a EBL C808U Smartchargeur with a pack of 8 AA batteries that are made by the same company ! The chargeur puts out 720mA MAX and can charge these 8 batteries at once ! Light goes green when charging terminated and sits in " Floating " charge ! Ive been using it soldly for one year, no issues whatsoever and i have not noticed their duration of work time decreasing ! Very little heat produced while charging ! A good buy i think !

But why not to limit the charging time to 2450/200 ? That way you wouldn't be overcharging the batteries in 60%.

@@arrabidaking your point is not very clear to me. Here i am not overcharging anything. But battery recommends to push some more charge over than its capacity because of it's inefficiency of charging. That extra charge is to counter the inefficiency.

I am so mad at the modern recharger market because I have batteries that when I use any of them they are so hot I almost burn myself when removing them. My batteries demand no more than 195ma to charge (4h), and really prefer 60ma chargers (14h slow charge).
