Batman's greatest superpower is plot armor. That whole versus the Justice League story? What if Batman decided to go Injustice and create his own civil war because something finally happened ie. Damian and Alfred's deaths at the hands of say Superman's villains, why not, and he gets fed up with them and finally cracks and goes against the Justice League. Batman himself has stated that the contingency plan to stop HIM is the Justice League. Run with that and we think: Ok, give Batman his toys and he declares war on the Justice League, the Titans, and every single superhuman on Earth and even manages (for a time at any rate) to coerce every single solitary member of the Batman Family and maybe even the Green Arrow family to fight with him. Eventually the rest of them will turn on Bruce because they just want to save the day and be heroes and do not have Bruce's single determination to see the job done. THAT is Bruce's greatest strength, but also his weakness. The climax of the battle would play out with the entire League of sound mind and body versus Batman in his anti-Justice League suit and if they try to take him head on, they're not going to get far. Then suddenly the Bat-Family and all of Team Batman enter the fray and beat him up too, and it's STILL not enough (hey you got to break Batman's plot armor somehow!) but people forget, the Justice League are not stupid and we shouldn't take their own gifts for granted. Ever. Enter the Flash. Flash runs back in time at the exact moment of Damian's and Alfred's deaths to snake them out of time BEFORE the moment of impact so it still looks like whatever hit them is turned to ash. Damian might try to stand with his father, or he might be disgusted seeing Dick and everybody against Bruce and his loyalty DOES have limits as shown. Alfred would be appalled and scold Bruce and give the League that moment of weakness where Wonder Woman rallies the rest to dismantle Batman's suit, destroy his utility belt, and all of his gadgets. In Bruce's moment of defiance, much like Death in the Family, he'd punch Superman right in the face with no Kryptonite or nothing, except Clark wouldn't move and his arm would explode off his body. Clark, having too much respect for the man he once was, would not reveal Bruce's identity and they would all lock him up in a prison so advanced that each security measure would be tailored to every League member's powers and traits AND the Batman Family's, so yeah Bruce is not escaping, but the world knows this: BATMAN is the bad guy. Then what happens next? Well Gotham's Rogues would celebrate: Batman's gone nuts! The Bat-Family is disgraced and wanted for their crimes thus forcing them to retire or take new identities outright, and the Joker? He'd have the biggest laugh of them all: He'd put on a scalloped trench coat and a cowl with prank gadgets and call himself Batman and murder every criminal and surprisingly do a much better job at being a hero, just to spite his old nemesis AND the Justice League. Honestly, we've seen what happens when Superman is the bad guy, Wonder Woman is evil, Aquaman is evil, etc etc. We've never seen a story where BATMAN finally cracks, and I mean completely cracks, not the OMAC stuff, not the Tower of Babel, I mean goes FULL ON SUPERVILLAIN. And to me, that's how it'd play out: Half the world destroyed or in a police state, and Batman imprisoned by his own contingency plans while Gotham turns into a twisted parody of itself and the only person he would have to blame (but wouldn't,) is himself.

Batman's weakness is not being able to kill, holding loved ones hostage, and creating distractions. Batman himself highlighted this in his contingency plan on how to stop him if he went rogue. Furthermore, his identity is also a weakness if exploited, as is his equipment to emp blasts. If you can disable his equipment, and have magical powers, he'd be utterly disabled. The issue comes into play when we look at his main strength, he's a master detective with a myriad of contingency plans. One could argue Batman would be prepared regardless of scenario or circumstance considering his main weapon is the art of preparation. I will mention this though, Batman's main source of dependency is his ability to deduce yes, but what if you were able to wipe his memory to make him forget he's Batman. If you had a super villain with the ability to erase memories, you could redefine Bruce Wayne. Without knowing he's Batman, he cannot act as such, nor can he prepare or react. The only way to stop someone who relies on their mind, is to scramble their mind.

Now I know you said that it is really hard to "defeat" Batman but then you said besides shooting him, which to me is an easy way. Not sure too many characters would say, "Hey Batman, I want to "defeat" you but first I am going to give you a few hours to meet me and then we will have it out." I agree he is an amazing detective and is super smart but he does not have any powers. With that being said, if Superman would just look to his right make a fist and hit Batman, that would be it...lol. Reverse Flash or Zoom would take out Batman before he even has a chance to come up with a plan. Also, that time Batman defeated the insane Superman, Superman was insane and not going for a quick finish. Otherwise Batman would have died. Batman himself admits that if Superman were in his right mind and wanted him dead, there would be nothing he could do to stop him.

We should also take into account since he is human he can be weakened. This is how Bane infamously broke his back. He had him fight inmates until he was fatigued to a punt that not even his skills were enough to keep him safe while fighting Bane because he was already so tired. So just making a battle last long enough. Since he's human he has to breath, use get close enough to fight than spray him with some type of hallucination or poison like Scarecrow does. It's super hard but also easy if you just think about it for a bit.

After he gets to the crime scene, you will be able to deduce who Batman is. Calculate average instantaneous rate of change in his acceleration of the Batmobile, having set 5 - 10 guys on roof tops over looking multiple street paths to the crime. Once you have your margin of average rate, you can get a map of Gotham and create a radius of possible locations the Batmobile could have originated from based on when he got to the scene and when the crime started happening, taking into account multiple variables such as: time it may have taken him to hear about the crime, time it took him to suit up as Batman, etc. You'll end up with 9 - 12 different circles, which will soon diminish down to 2-3 once you calculate the direction of which he came from. The crime has to take place at 7:30pm (depending on Daylight savings time intervals) because you know Batman only comes out at night, so you need the crime to happen as close to night fall as possible to ensure Batman is not already out on the streets. If it's still barely daylight, but is almost night, then you'll know Batman is just beginning to suit up, thus providing a more accurate calculation of how long it took him to get to the crime scene.

Two essential components of any "make Batman dead* plan. *1. Nullify Batman's ability to plan and prepare.* Whether through sheer speed or subterfuge, the attack - when it comes - must be unexpected. Preferably when he is operating as Bruce Wayne. Or sleeping. Sleeping would be best. If Batman knows you're after him, he *will* develop a plan to deal with you. *2. Don't mess about.* The only safe Batman is a dead Batman. No deathtraps. No bombs with timers. No suspending him above a shark tank. No burying him alive so he's brain-damaged from oxygen deprivation when he gets out so everyone can point and laugh (no seriously, someone actually thought that would work; even the Joker thought it was insane). Whatever you do, it has to kill him instantly. So ... satellite-mounted death ray taking out Bruce Wayne's private jet? Could work. The biggest handicap Batman's foes are dealing with is that they don't want to just *kill* the Bat. They want to *defeat* the Bat. They want batman to know he's been beaten and who beat him. Most of them want everyone else to know it too. Which pretty much requires that they follow neither of these two points. Which means they fail.

I can think of a couple ways - Clone/doppleganger/copy. The obvious difficult situation. - slip some nanites or toxins into his body. This can be done directly or through aerosol - Destroy his batcaves. This is a slow one but if they were all caved in, he loses most of his resources

"What makes Batman so hard to kill?" Plot armor. I've seen this guy get punched and thrown into things with such force that his skeleton should literally melt. Sure, he's often hurt by these blows but this is the type of stuff that should defeat him. This guy has had pillars fall on him and even though he has to push the rubble away to get from under it, not a single broken bone. I've seen Batman get punched by less capable fighters (in terms of skill) like Clayface but when he fights someone that could end him with one punch, however capable that fighter might be, he's evading everything. Seriously, this is what's making Batman boring to me, he's always outclassing everyone. Spider-Man can [somewhat] see into the future and he still gets beat up more often.

it's hard to kill because of he's popularity and he's underdog status when fighting overpowered beings. who wants to read a comic where superman or other overpowered characters beats on and def a mere human...it's the David and Goliath effect. in BVS, noticed superman never hit him with a single punch when fully powered all he did was just threw him through walls...'cus no way to justify a metal amour that can withstand a punch of a character that supposedly can bench press the whole galaxy. So depending on writers, a lot of his super adversaries needs to be weakened in other to make the fight fair. case in point JLA endgame batman vs flash. flash is so fast he can def batman, go home and take a nap before batman can even blink but somehow he found a way to lay a trap for him...gimme a break.

even then, it's still hard to defeat Batman because he has a special metal thing in his helmet that protects him from bullets to the head and his suit made of something where even if he is shot, then the material of his suit will be able to slow down the impact of the bullets and give him enough time to hide, and then he'll use his tech and trace you down. It's really hard to beat the Batman even if he doesn't know you are going to try because he is always on alert and always sneaky to the point where if he sees any threat, it's game over for you or anyone.

My favorite Batman defeat was in Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader? The comic itself is all about a meta funeral/eulogy where all his greatest villains come in to talk about how they ended up defeating him in different realities. Clayface tells a poignant story in which Batman had to choose between letting Clayface perish in a rush of water or sacrifice himself to save the villain. Clayface tells him "I'm not worth it!" to which Batman responds, "Everyone's worth it." before letting himself get swept away. I much prefer that version of Batman: where the writers depict him as a damaged dude who refuses to see his enemies as anything other than sick people who deserve his help. Just as much as the normal citizens of Gotham. Everyone's worth it. Everyone.

Ways to kill batman well kinda comes down to just tricking him or well pretty much being unpredictable, doing things batman wouldn't expect or get around easily. Hit the bat mobile or his jet with an emp, physic attacks might work as well because it will put him off focus.

If you could exploit batmans guilt and regret for his parents, to make him drop his guard. You could defeat him that way. Maybe use scarecrows fear toxin or some form of mind manipulation. Batman has an intense amount of will power and mental strength, but it would be utilised to momentarily distract him so that you could administer a deathly blow

Any regular human weakness is also Batman's weakness, like memory deterioration and muscle atrophy. Unique elements that could lead to Batman's death should always be something he can't prepare against. Like pure unpredictability (minus Joker because they have this weird appreciation for one another) and John Constantine.

Even shooting him in the head from a rooftop is harder than it may seem. In order to do that you would have to either know his true identity or find him as the batman, which is hard to do since he usually stays hidden until the action starts.
