Materials
Any summery yarn could be used to knit this pattern if you want to use the finished product as a bandana/hairkerchief. It is also a great stash buster for your single summer yarns (50gr).
Needle size could be adjusted according to your yarn choice. I used 3.25mm/US3 for all my three samples as the main needle, and 2.5mm (US1.5) DPNs for the i-cord.

Paused at the beginning to say, I said last week I wish I had some knitted bandanas. I was thinking I would wear them more than maybe a scarf or something for special skeins of yarn we get just 1 of.

This is very timely! I’m having a medical procedure in July which requires that my hair be shaved off! I’ve purchased a wig for trips outside of the house, but having some nice, simple bandanas like this will be nice to have for keeping my head covered inside the house (until my hair grows back). @@alliknit - thanks very much! It’s all good, though. I’m hoping that it will reduce a condition I have called essential tremors (it’s hereditary. Both my mother and grandmother had the same condition.) if it’s successful, it should reduce my tremors by 50-80%. Should make knitting a LOT easier, I hope!
