They are best known for their craft books and their original, colourful and visually striking designs. As of this year, we aim to go through the comments of our latest video and post something in that video's comments section on Monday morning. However, yesterday, we were both out with a bad cold and had fever, so we weren’t up to the task. We are much better today, though, so we have finally scrolled through the comments and we just want to thank everyone for their continued support! It really means a lot to us. As to the idea of purling stitches in the second colour, to create some interesting texture, yes, it could basically be done on any colour work design, not only this hat. We will look into other cool design ideas for hats and make more videos on this in the future, we promise! We will be taking it easy for the rest of this week and hope to be back on our feet as soon as possible. We wish you all a continued great week ahead! Carlos (and Arne)

Glad you're up and about. The folks who do your production do such a great job. The hat images are so crisp, I really understand the value of the pattern in purl. The flowers behind Arne are beautiful, and Carlos, your orange sweater looks great. I'm reviewing your video content for color work mittens on fine needles. I can do Norwegian purl, but I really stink at catching my main color, right hand, floats on long runs. This especially happens on cuffs, where there isn't a lot of maneuvering room. I know I've seen some that can help me, maybe the one about not having twisted yarns.

Hello my favourite Vikings, Arne I could watch you knit for hours, I am a thrower like Carlos I can only knit continental on four needles! I take my knitting everywhere with me, I knit on the buses and trains, people tell Me how relaxing it is for them to watch me knit! I love this new hat. what a good idea to use the purl stitches in the darker color. It add depth to the stitch and pattern. Very clever. I would love to see more hats, and am glad to purchase them on Ravelry. You have given us knitters so many wonderful patterns for free.. Thank you

Also, no explanations necessary for why you have begun charging a fee for patterns! If people really want them they can afford to pay a few dollars for something so nice! I love hat patterns. They're quick, always useful, can easily be donated, etc. I would love to see a few cabled hat patterns. I always tell new(ish) knitters that hats are the best place to learn new skills because they're quick, you can try the skill out for a few repeats without getting stuck on a project that takes a long time, like a scarf or sweater.

I just bought the yarn for this hat while you were talking. I hope the pattern is as easy as it appears in your expert hands. I've never done color work but I'm ready and willing. A hat seems to be the best starting point. Please don't stop giving us patterns and tutorials. I have knitted 2 pairs of socks thanks to you. What ever would we do without you?

I really like this ! Such an easy way to get an interesting look. Also I'd like you to know how beautiful to look at this week was. Your orange and blue sweaters, the geranium behind you, the Toile drapery ( at least it looks like a toile ) against the light walls is very visually appealing. You have every right to charge for any pattern! Nobody can be expected to work free of charge all the time, only because they are generous enough to give something away for free. This is a part of your profession, after all. Sorry to hear about people being upset about it, I really think you are doing the right thing. Yes, more hats. Love seeing Arne knit... He has some unique ways of holding and handling the yarn and needles... Well, unique for me, anyhow.. lol. I was hoping you would skip to later in the make, and show the decreasing and finishing. Too short. I like the longer videos with a lot of content. Thanks for them all. p.s. Thanks for showing my 1st knitting project, my hat, on you last video. I was so excited to see it there. Thanks to you, I was able to complete it, and gave it to my daughter. She was so excited. I have done a couple more since. Thanks again, for all your inspiration, and encouragement.

Watching Arne and Carlos while knitting my scarf from your Favourite Designs Book! Bliss. FYI there are several printing mistakes on page 153 from row 247-253, but you probably know this already. When I’m done, this scarf will be auctioned for a charity to help at-risk youth in my area. And you will be given design credit. It’s a very ambitious piece for me because I have recently recovered from a severe concussion. Next I think I will make a Magnus mouse :)
