Any time I need help with a knitting project, I look on youtube. I end up looking at a couple of videos, and then I end up back here. These explanations and methods are by far the best! Thank you so much!

First man I've ever known who knits. And I think that is awesome. Knitting actually originated in England and it was something that only men were allowed to do. and now in South America, one of the ancient native tribal peoples, knitting was introduced to them when Europeans came, and the men use knitting to make a certain kind of beautifully colored hat, that is part of an old long standing tradition. and its the MEN that knit! Mr. I Don't Know Your Name, you are the first like Caucasian (at least by the look of your hands) man I have ever seen knit!!

Thank you so much for this really clear explanation! I’ve always done this first one and wondered why it always looked so bad. I’m working on a triangle scarf and it starts from the bottom point and grows so this was perfect!

THANK YOU. I needed to add stitches at the beginning of rows and needed a stretchy method. Thanks for including information about that in the tutorial

I needed to cast on 2 stitches at end of round for mitten gussets. I always used the backward loop because that's all I knew and it always looked sloppy. Thanks to your clear explanations, I choose cable cast on and it looks S-O-O much better!

I've found doing increases going twice into the same stitch difficult on my wrists/carpals so looking for a much less stressful one so which would you recommend? I'm working on a sontag so it's increases in center of work.

Thank you but I was hoping for instruction on how to add stitches in the middle of the row, not the end. When adding stitches in the middle of the row I don't know which needle they should go on to. Thanks

I don’t understand how you go as of to knit the first stitch after turning because the yarn is at the front. I almost finished a pattern for a toy but have had three unsuccessful attempts at making armholes. I was ok casting off purlwise in the row but I can’t work out how to cast on in the following row. There is nomention in the patten of turning the work. Is this standard? Thanks

You are not, in fact, casting on stitches "in the middle of the work". You are casting them on to one end of the work.

Well yes, they are at the end of the row, but in the middle of the fabric swatch.
