I've tried for years to get the loop stitch by reading the pattern, with no success. I'm a visual learner and I pick it up watching you video one time. Thanks a bunch! Please make more videos for us visual learners.

Thank you. That was very easy to understand. Once I got the hang of it, it was easier to just do the loop directly on the right thumb instead of switching thumbs in the middle of the stitch. What do you usually do with this stitch? Ideas??

Help! I completed my cardigan all in loopy stitch (thanks for the tutorial, it was great!) only to find I made a mistake on one stitch and the loop has pulled through leaving a big hole. Is there any way to fix it without unpicking the whole cardigan?

Hi Ngoc Pham! We are using our Crazy Sexy Wool in Ivory White which we have knitted on 12mm needles. The smaller yarn is Sugar Baby Alpaca which we have knitted on 5mm needles!

Over My Shoulder pattern uses 10mm needles. Yet, I think we used 15mm in this video. You'll see the link to the pattern and needles listed in the description of the video.

Does anyone know where to find a pattern for a scarf made with this? I used to have one and can't find it. I would think, by the way, you would want loops on both sides. I am also wondering about needle size. Thanks!

Hello Marilee Feldman, we do not have a scarf pattern in the loop stitch but we do have the Over My Shoulder pattern: www.woolandthegang.com/product/over-my-shoulder-pattern/knitting-pattern OR the Plush Polly Vest pattern: www.woolandthegang.com/product/plush-polly-vest-pattern/knitting-pattern both of which feature the stitch. The needle size in the video looks like it is 12mm. Hope this helped :)
