Scandinavians Arne Nerjordet and Carlos Zachrison are highly regarded designers, textile artists and authors. They are best known for their craft books and their original, colourful and visually striking designs. Their work is highly influenced by their Scandinavian background and their everyday life in rural Norway. They work under their artist name ARNE & CARLOS, which they established in 2002.

Just working my way through all of Arne & Carlos' videos and I love these simple ones with Arne. Really easy to watch and great explanations. Definitely going to learn this style of knitting over the UK style I do now. Thanks Arne.

Hiya Arne 🌞, so nice to see how deft you are in your hand crafting! My friends Father was a submarine engineer and knitted all their various babywear to teenage woolens,whilst at sea in the navy- the only man l ever saw who knitted(apart from some Scottish crofters!)l also saw some who did marvellous embroidery! I have to say that I just watched Arne knit in this video-and I copied the technique-Norwegian style-and it’s changed my knitting life!I love it !!Its easier ,faster and more ergonomic than my American style I’ve always used.No more throwing the yarn-it’s so much more fun now to knit!So ,a big thank you Arne!😊😊😊

pletem od 1977 godine i onda je bio moderan žakard uzorak i puno vesta sam isplela ima ih svugdje obožavam pletenje od ćiste ovčje vunei od čistog pamučnog konca i heklanje i tkanje i šivanje sve to radim ali zlobni su mi uništili život i nisam se nikad ostvarila bezobrazni opasni neljudi svaka čast za muško samo napred pozdrav

I so agree with finding this channel. I am looking at the years past...ordered the other day their mask that has knitted pattern on it...making the Christmas felted balls that both Arne and Carlos have video’s on KZfaq. I love their style and the education too that you are getting from designers. Their accomplishments within the fashion industry is so amazing.

Really nice Arne! Yes I have been knitting hats just like you with the circular then double pointed... just figured it out myself and tried several colors (fair isle) and I was surprised it turned out nice! Hi Arne!😸 I can't wait to start doing color work knitting. I tried teaching myself years ago before KZfaq. One thing I didn't know was to twist the yarn in the back. I have to say, I enjoy your pleasant voice and your hat is beautiful. One day I hope I can incorporate more colors into my knitting. Hi! One of the things I’m working on right now are these crocheted tiny, brightly colored flowers to use embellish a pair of sandals. Because of your videos, though, I spend an hour every evening practicing knitting. I was taught to throw the yarn. It’s always been frustrating and slow. By watching you,Arne, I’ve learned to use the picking method. My tension is still really bad but it gets better every day. Thanks to you both!
